I raced TZ 250s 350s 352s 385s and TZ 750s in the seventies and now mechanic for my son on his 24 YZ450 anniversary. The yams in my day were the same colour as yours in the UK so yours brings back good memories. The 24 is the best crosser we have owned. Great vid and love the bike I am 72 this year and still a big Yam fan.
You did it up right Ping, Yamaha blew it with the 50th anniversary throwback.

White and red were Yamaha factory racing colors back in the 80's. Those graphics remind me of the old YZ500M!
Congrats on the bike brother. Absolutely love the Yamaha of Europe Racing color scheme. To me it was always a toss up between the yellow and black of the United States models and this color scheme from back in the day.

Yellow backgrounds for the vintage / 500 look? Looking good!
You showed them but you didn’t mention the Works Connection rear axle blocks that allows you to maintain the longer wheelbase without having to over extend the chain adjuster bolts.
How come you went with Ohlins ? Bike is sick reminiscent of that yzm500 factory bike.

Probably because Ohlins is the best available and the YZM came with Ohlins suspension 😂

U didn't mention the works chassis parts. I noticed your engine mounts r not oem. I have 2024 yz250f 50th Edition, w factory chassis parts, loaded w/ burnt purple titanium bolts. DP101 your bikes r always looking better than factory. Happy roosting, throttle twister guy. BK819.

How much weight did you save with the titanium ? Is it noticable riding it ?
Noticed the decel pop or what seems like a bit of a lean feel with my FMF full system plus twin air power flow, similar to what you mention here. Is there a recommended stock map setting in lieu of sending my ecu somewhere?
