I was recently fitted by Golftec for the Ping Max. Loft-10.5, Shaft Length-44”, Shaft-Ping Alta-CB-Slate-55-DRV-R. CHS-90mph, Ball Speed 128. I have a Mizuno ST 190 but unfortunately the fitter didn’t have the newest Mizuno to compare. I enjoyed your review but would to hear your thoughts about what might be a good option for the new Mizuno Max. BTW, I’m 71, 5’9”and 130lbs.

Been using a 230 ST-Max for about 2 months now and I love it. I have hit some my straightest drives with this club and of coarse the occasional mistake but overall very happy. Much better than my old Cobra Rad-speed.

Just got fitted and ordered myself a 230 st-max today! I can’t wait to get out there with it. During the fitting process I turned my slice into a nice little fade every hit!

How is it going? I got a 230 ST-MAX as well, but I can't hit it for some reason. I'm getting massive slices or hooks but nothing in the middle. I'm considering returning the club at this moment.

I game the ST Max 230 it’s so forgiving and straight, feels and sounds great too

I chose the Ping G430 Max 10K too. Accurate and covers up all but the worst drives. Dark horse isn't the Mizuno. Many stores carry Mizuno irons and wedges, but few carry the drivers and fairway woods. Dark horse is the PXG Black Ops Driver.

9 degrees, play standard length across the board. weight i play around 65g with an X/TX flex

At 72 with 70 mph swing speed which would you recommend. Appreciate your thoughts

you've a velocore in the ping, not a fair test

Mizuno will drop alot more in price than the ping so this time next year i might put the mizuno in the bag ⛳

See the shaft profile is way different… you put the hulk into the ping I garantee it won’t go as far let , the 2024 ventus blue is a pool noddle in comparison to a TX hulk

slightly different but the ventus is heavily tipped so there won't be a massive difference. I have a hulk shaft for the Ping, results were near identical.
