The Pine tree produces a high volume of pollen every spring, blanketing the ground and acting as fertilizer for all the plants in its ecosystem. We could call pine pollen a Spring tonic for the forest itself. It has been consumed as a food by many native tribes in North America for centuries and is considered one of nature's most nutrient dense substances. In the body it is a powerful tonic with adaptogenic properties, helping balance the androgen/estrogen ratios in the body. Modulating endocrine and hormone imbalances, improving immune function and reducing inflammation. As an anti-oxidant pine pollen stimulates the production of superoxide dismutase (SOD), a strong free radical scavenger in the liver heart and brain. It has also been shown to lower cholesterol, stimulate liver regeneration and have anti-tumor effects. Over all it enhances the bodies functions and in my opinion is a greatly underutilized natural resource.
If you would like to know more about Pine Pollen I highly recommend the book "Pine Pollen, ancient medicine for the new millennium" by Stephen Harrod Buhner.

    there are pines trees all over Kansas City, Missouri. I've kept tabs, and any day now! It's May 14, 2023, and it's just about ready. My plan is to get a lot and check out how to store it properly.

    When using pine pollen tincture it might be important to talk about aromatase inhibitors such as nettle root. These prevent the body from converting the androgens into estrogens. I think it is important to research this for male health and vitality.

  • @Aethelvlad

    @Aethelvlad

    pine pollens hormonal makeup is adaptive, your body converts it into what is needed most. if you don't need estrogen, you won't receive estrogen. therefore using aromatase inhibitors is redundant.

    I got some pine pollen/stinging nettle extract for my prostate. I took it for two weeks and never felt so relaxed and confident. My prostate issue went away after a couple days as well.. I actually ran out of the stuff and procrastinated on buying more and about 4 days after not using the pine pollen/S Nettle i found myself getting tense again and my prostate problem came back. Luckily i got my shipment today and just added it to my green tea and enjoyed it while watching this video! The stuff works! My body was begging for more. Once i saw i was getting low on the pollen i could feel my body yearning for more ahah

    In North Carolina we have a huge variety of pine it seems to be the most dominant type trees we have here in the central NC area. In spring everyone’s cars are covered in it for a month . One lady thought someone had painted her car yellow. When the cops got there they knew right away that it was just pollen from he pines that had-just released their pollen that night. It’s winter here now but I will collect some next spring and when people complain about the pollen that I will tell them all about the wonderful uses of the pine tree. Thanks for illuminating the pine pollen uses for me that was something I had not yet discovered and will definitely utilize next spring time.
