PINE ISLAND : 2 MONTHS AFTER IAN / A DRIVE THROUGH OF ST.JAMES CITY & BOKEELIA

This video will take the viewer on a drive on Pine Island to St. James City then to Bokeelia. We will see the devastation of Hurricane Ian, but also the recovery, cleanup, and restoration of Pine Island and the towns on it. We will take a stop at the Raggedy Ass saloon and Captain Con's FishHouse in Bokeelia. This video is dedicated to the residents of Pine Island and all the construction crews helping in the restoration.

    Thanks for posting this. I was able to help a friend on Fort Myers Beach with cleanup and salvaging building materials. Being there in person takes it to a whole new level. Some folks lost everything.

    It was sad Mark , what I witnessed doing this video , to see the total loss and devastation, but Fort Myers Beach will rise again I'm sure through time, but will be much different

    @@LarryWarden it will but it will never be the same,, everything that was built out of wood and tin is gone the concrete block and poured concrete are still standing but had internal water damage,,, I left Naples and did not realize the devastation until I got to Bonita Beach, where I played Volleyball since the early 90s at Docs,,, the devastation went on, and on and on. I have friends who owned a mobile home in St James City and lost everything, fortunately it was their winter home. Again thanks for sharing this.

    I lived on Mondongo for the first couple years of my life starting in 1979. I wonder what happened to it. That is horrible what it did to our area.
