PilotRedSun - Grinch's Ultimatum OST (edit)
Музыка
decided to do my own take on removing the sound effects from this song... i got most of them but to get the rest and not lose quality u would have to be some kind of audio genie which i am not (or re-create this entire song using the same VSTs)
i uploaded this yesterday but took it down so i could put more work into making the timing exactly like the original, so enjoy that

@@rogermaglayo1325 And then there's Xploshi. He seems to be inspired by PilotRedSun, but he has an added bonus of 3D animation. Very advanced CGI and deepfakes. His videos remind me of old VHS tapes and ancient unknown things that somehow made it into my mind. The most mind-blowing thing about him, in my opinion, is his age. He is ~17 years old. I'm 16! That somehow adds another layer of intrigue into the equation. I have no idea how he has any time to make animations, due to school and whatnot. If it weren't for school right now, I would be animating a lot more. Anyways, I went off track. Point is, PilotRedSun has inspired and touched the hearts of many people (including me), and I believe that "Grinch's Ultimatum" is one of his best masterpieces. 🙂

@lasagnapig630
8 ай бұрын
“grief” is a powerful word, but it might be accurate. while christmas time is a time for celebration, it is also a time for seasonal depression and the highest rates of suicide. in a way, everyone experiencing seasonal depression is feeling their brain get trapped in doubts and worries and feels a sense of loss as a result. but its hard to place that feeling when we bury these feelings beneath merriness and our own swirling thoughts. pilotredsun managed to place these deep existential thoughts over the backdrop of the holidays, and this juxtaposition forces us to look back at this part of ourselves we try to ignore and realize our own feelings during the holiday season. at least, it did for me.
It seemed like a funny "lol wtf" video, but it really hit a note with people. The music especially. It gets the mind wandering, it makes you think. It has that whimsical feel to it that opens your mind. At least it does for me. This in turn makes the video feel a lot deeper than at first glance, and perhaps it is. This is the kind of stuff you hear when your mind is, let's say, elsewhere.

I'm really appreciating the choice of artwork for the song for matching with the song. It really captures the raw anachronism of an idealized black-and-white Grinch interacting with the real world. Of course the Grinch is in a leather jacket with realistic body proportions. Youthful dreaming in an somewhat depressing reality. Otherworldly strings, ethereal synths, and lighthearted recorders over a funky modern drum break. A testament to music's ability to evoke emotion. Thank you for cleaning this up.
There’s something so sad about this song, it literally sounds like a missed opportunity. Like you had one chance to make your life better, and you let it pass you by. Which I think is especially weird because this song was made for essentially an advanced shitpost. Well played, PilotRedSun

this song is one of those that you listen to to fall asleep but strangely it leaves you with that thought of "why the hell am I existing?", while you listen to it you feel that you are remembering the good moments that life has given you but at the same time the bad ones, and make you question all those decisions you made in the past are really worth it,but slowly you start to cry because of that feeling of loneliness and the fear that you don't have anyone or that sooner or later you won't have anyone else in your life but then you fall asleep in the process, it's like that kind of song you'd hear as the sun goes down in a horizon

i cant explain it, but this sounds like the passing of time. like, if you put this music on a montage of someones entire life, from birth to death it would be fitting.
This is what freedom sounds like, you just don't know it yet.
This feel like growing up in a disfunctional house and try to restart your life but the trauma won't let you have healthy social life, and you feel a weird nostalgia when you don't need to close the door of your room to have a little of peace anymore They abused you, but at least they were there, right?
Welp, there we go. I found this song today, listened to it about 20 times throughout the day and now it doesn't hit the spot anymore. For anyone reading this, please don't listen to this masterpiece so often, save it and listen to it occasionally so you don't ruin it for yourself.

This song is and always will be weirdly nostalgic and melancholic at the same time for me, and I love it for that.

Unironically one of the best songs ever made.
This song evokes the strangest nostalgia
This feels like the void you sometimes feel inside was instead in the whole world around you and you feel filled with an unknown sensation
have i truly become ultimated the ultimatum?
this sounds like a lucid dream except a really faint lucid dream that you have hardly any control over
and that is the tale of the christmas cretin.
to me this song feels like having unexpected free time (plans being cancelled, finishing something early, etc) and not knowing exactly what to do with that time, the freedom is sweet but there's undertones that its ending soon.
i've been checking youtube for 3 years trying to get this track isolated. you did it you mad lad. i love you
It sounds like going down a water slide. You can change the angle and trajectory and minutely change your speed, but you can never change your descent or your destination. You leave those things to fate, and you don't care what happens; it's sort of a sense of cosmic bliss, similar but not quite the same to a combination of comfort and apathy.
a positive melancholy beautiful
Huh? Huh? you gonna be a saint? (sent) or a grinch? (grunch)

@@wildwilly356 And thats the tale of the Christmas Cretin
This makes me feel like those winter days, cloudy days, when you had a cold and your mom would let you not go to school. Then you would spend the hole evening playing ps1 while watching the gray and cloudy day from your window.
have i truly become the viewer?
Thank you. I have chosen to be a Grinch.

The whole song kinda but especially the breakdown at the ending
I always viewed PRSs music as morning to day to night. Just listen. Beginning as the morning, middle as the day, and ending as the night.
You ever relate to a song that doesn’t even have lyrics? This is such a perfect description of where I’m at in life
This is anxiety distilled into a song
