Godspeed SAA! it's been a wonderful ride...

It is just amazing to be in the cockpit by the help of this and similar videos, while I am sitting comfortably at home and at the same time I find myself right in the cockpit along with pilots, while I am watching very-very closely every procedure and step they are taking during entire flight...! It is just as real and safe as it could be. It is just wonderful!

That island is not Sicily but Sardegna !!

It depends. Some planes don't have taxi controls on the FO side. Bit i don't know why a fo cant do taxi if he can do landing

Usually every airlines with widebody on the fleet allow the fo to do the taxi since there's almost never a single case a newbie pilot operating a widebody on long haul route. It's usually those with quiet lots of experience/high flying hour that have type rating for a widebody.

Excellent! It's amazing they can fly a plane the size of the A330, A340 and A380 with a joystick!

@@tomstravels520 Not the A350's problematic engines so far, Don't bring a coffee cup in the cockpit also.

Love seeing the crew and the camera showing the engine outside the cabin's window at night was awesome. Beautiful sunrise, landscape, and terrain. I love the equipment of the A340 and seeing other air traffic while flying. Awesome landing and I love the plane's camera showing the plane's top and wheels. The different camera views you do is amazing. It's the same landing, but you get to see it in many ways. Love this video.

1974 on my to Canada Munich was the second stop by Lufthansa Airline all the way to Frankfurt - where we (I myself with Mother and Grand Mother) spent one night Frankfurt then the following day we continue with Air Canada. Both Airline Companies they were taking very-very good care of us. We just indulge ourselves with their extremely special care and kindness. They were just wonderful...! ❤🍷😊

Sorry to see SAA go . Thanks Mr Zuma !! The poor sales of the A340 should have warned Airbus of a similar fate awaiting the A380 . I flew the A 346 from CDG-DOH with Qatar Airlines . A very comfortable plane .

The pilot got the wrong island name. It's Sardinia they were flying over, not Sicily.

I hope my country's airline (SAA) can get them self sorted as I want to fly for them.

The Medium Term Budget Policy Statement (or, mini-budget) was met with a somewhat muted response. It's not that the local government won't help them its more that there is no money to help. It's a real pity but it has passed its days. An airline very close to my heart

This is an old video from 2016!Do some research next time before making accusations.

It amazes me that a pilot doesn't know his geography. That wasn't Sicily that was Sardinia he was pointing to on his tablet. God what uneducated people we have in high positions.
