Piloting Airbus A340 into Martinique | Lovely Cockpit Views

Air Belgium became the 284th airline to join our cockpit series! The new Belgian airline commenced operations in June 2018 with a fleet of 4 Airbus A340-300. We join the crew on board of OO-ABB which has a special livery celebrating the airline's new service to Guadeloupe and Martinique for a roundtrip flight from Charleroi Airport near Brussels to Fort De France and Point A Pitre.

This video is overall beautiful. The view outside is beautiful; the skies are amazing, the water is amazing, the landscape and terrain are amazing, the view of the Airport and the city are amazing, and a nice view of the Volcano and the bay. Beautiful plane, great pilots, and awesome landing that sounds great. I enjoy listening to these pilots as they do their work, and hearing the Captain speak to the passengers was great. I love the different camera positioning between the cockpit, windows, and even a nice wing and engines view as well. This was a well done video and the weather was perfect for it. I really do miss flying but I will be one day. I love it all, awesome video.

I've been to Martinique 30 years ago ORY-FDF with Air France B747-200 it was a great holiday especially the return flight to Europe, with only 50 passengers onboard, I could just sit whereever I wanted... great flight!! :-)

Very cool. Hope to make it back to St Lucia one day! The one and only time we visited was in 1999 during the filming of AOM and the DC10-30 en route from St Maarten to Paris.

The crew on this flight is comprised of 3 pilots as its a long flight so that each of the 3 pilots gets to rest... the relief pilot was a first officer so this way no matter when each pilots takes their rest there's always a captain in the cockpit.
