Pilot RC 2.0m Viper Jet Unboxing!
Just received The Pilot RC 2.0m Viper Jet and here is the unboxing. I paid the extra money to have the factory install the landing gear, lights, servos, fuel tank, uat, and many other items to make the build easier. The build will follow this video so stay tuned for that because believe it or not, there is some stuff to put together on her before maiden. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more videos!

They did a number on that box. My 1.8m viper came in a much longer box but it's a one peace fuselage. Lots of luck with it. I also did a build video on mine.

Yeah, I don’t know how the plane was untouched. The fork came so close to the fuse, it ripped the foam wrapping off, but did hit the plane!

Ever seen Skymaster's viperjet 2m? What changes or would there be any difference to the Pilot-RC 2.0 kit? In terms of flight... would there be any difference in performance as well?

This one is actually a 2.2m. I think tgat Skymaster and pilot are just amazing. This kit seems to be put together really nice. I have gone through the whole jet trying to find joints that might need glue, or anything else and found no issues. I do t have any Skymaster kits, but I think either one you go with, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks for watching.
Looks great! What gear controller did it come with? The black one or the jphobby red one? Love the scheme!

Thanks! Came with the pilot light controller and a no hobby gear controller.

Looks like the pipe has to come out to mount the engine. Do you have to mount the engine screws thru the gear doors? Thanks

Pilot is still producing a lot of planes but chief aircraft is not selling them any longer. Tailslide aviation is we’re this one came from. They a great company and the owner Harry, is awesome to deal with.
