Pilot gets emotional introducing Make-A-Wish recipient - his niece.
A 5-year-old named Maeve was chosen for a Make-A-Wish after going through treatment for neuroblastoma. Her wish to go to Disney World was fulfilled, and to make it even more special, her uncle piloted the flight to Orlando. He became emotional as he introduced his niece to the plane, calling her the "strongest little girl that I know."

The miracle here is that she beat stage 4 neuroblastoma brain cancer. I lost my wife to gliosarcoma brain cancer. That's one tough little girl.

You might be thinking of glioblastoma. Neuroblastoma is much more survivable, thankfully.

I've watched a bunch of these Make-A-Wish videos, and this one hit me the hardest. No one at any age should beat a stage 4 neuroblastoma in the brain.

I only came across this video because I went down the rabbit hole of emotional videos, but I'm so glad I did. I'm a survivor of stage four neuroblastoma and my Make-A-Wish was to go to Disney. I was diagnosed in 2002 and recieved Immunotherapy, which was an experimental treatment at the time. I'd bet good money to say that Immunotherapy is what this girl received, which genuinely makes me feel good knowing that the treatment I was basically a guinea pig for is actively saving lives.
