​@crowmaster9652 he will make somethings easier but he isn't a god from the start. He can't climb at all and at the start of the game he can't swim and only carries woth the strength of 3 pikmin. Heck you cant even tell him to go to places on the map like you could woth the other captains in 3 until you upgrade him. You have to rescue people to earn points to level him up and then pay for each skill.

You're lucky too you get the chance to experience all types of pikmin (so far) within the same game. I'd definitely recommend pikmin 3 deluxe and the bundle for pikmin 1 and 2 for different play styles of the series

The animation for this trailer is so good it reminds me of the Pikmin Short Movies!

I love how they made these little cutscenes for this game, the not actual gameplay parts. I want to watch this video again just for those alone. It's these little extras that just make the game more fun & imaginative. Looking forward to this game more & more. Now I'm just curious of what other types of Pikmin we'll find.

The 4 demo has been my first ever Pikmin experience and it's been so fun. Gameplay is unique and engaging. Can't wait until full release. I'll also be purchasing 1 + 2 soon as well. Also, still have to check out 3.

​@@frankmiranda09i think they were referring to the difficulty. Since the first area is mainly a tutorial area, the demo felt fairly easy. I have a feeling that the games will be pretty difficult at points haha. Especially since the game overall seems to take a lot of inspiration from 2. And despite not much of a time limit in 2, there were so many hazards that Pikmin were going to die at some point.

This has been a great year for Pikmin fans. Glad to see the series finally getting the recognition it deserves.

When pikmin 3 came out i used to print out all the pikmin and their abilities with my grandma and hang them on the wall in the sun room. One of my greatest memories right there, im glad that there's similar videos for pikmin 4. I miss you Gran.

These animations are so charming!

What stands out to me with this tutorial video is how they straight up mention that Pikmin WILL die but can replenish in numbers. Meanwhile, i just lost my entire squad to the empress bulblax’s rolling ability in Pikmin 2

Holy cow! They are advertising the absolute *heck* out of this game! They’re in a Pikmin frenzy right now, and I couldn’t be more happy!

I am super excited for this game now! I didn't consider myself anything near a pikmin fan before I played the Pikmin 4 demo. I got Pikmin 3 on my Wii U when I was younger but was too stupid to beat the first boss. After playing the Pikmin 4 demo I've returned to it and I love it. (I beat the first boss first try, proving younger me an idiot)

Pikmin has revolutionized greatly since the last direct. It will sell millions I bet. Demo I recommend to beginners 100%.

I'm calling this guide the spiritual successor to the 2014 shorts, I hope they bring those back. Very excited for Pikmin 4!!

PLEASE FIX MOTION CONTROLS. It was perfect in Pikmin 3 Deluxe! Really hope they get adjusted before release, or eventually patched. Ever since New Play Control for Pikmin 1 & 2 on Wii, there is no going back. Waited so long for this game, just to find out that it feels terrible to control as a motion control player 😞. It’s the difference between scraping through the story once vs. playing through entirely, 100%-ing the game, and making Dandori Battles a staple for social gatherings.

The motion controls are not malfunctioning as you put them out to be, per se. It is just the unfortunate part of gyro controls, which are great, but do not have a reference point. On the Wii (and by extension the Wii U), the sensor bar was available which allowed to do pointing controls without a problem thanks to the reference point provided by the sensor bar. It was great. There was no loss of calibration ever. But, with gyro controls, for as good as they are, lose calibration over time and their center point of reference moves to a completely different part of the screen, making motion controls tedious over time.

I love Nintendo so much that they put Pikmin 4 into the spotlight. This is the first time you see Pikmin everywhere, and this series deserves all the attention.

Plus this video specifically does the best job yet of introducing newcomers, and also gives us our first animated CGI renders in the style of Pikmin Shorts, and extremely well animated at that! 🎉😊 So long as they don't pull a Metroid Prime Remaster and start over advertising in the beginning of my KZread videos with unskippable ads and give us more well animated CGI Pikmin stuff, I give my full hearted support 😁
