The fandom was in denial for years. Pikmin 2, he acknowledged taking over the Titan Dweevil. Pikmin 3, he sabotaged the Koppaites and stole their food to leave em for dead. Now Pikmin 4, an alternative timeline to Pikmin 1+2, he does _the exact same shit._

@@SixTheAlgebralian It is. That's part of why the Waterwraith's still there. This is Louie's first flight in this game, he's never worked with Olimar, and you get three different Koppaites in this game -- one of whom is York, Alph's older brother, who went to space instead of him.

I enjoy how the ending shows that the Pikmin has their own leader and also another as their protector. They no longer have to be alone.

The best ending to 1 had them jump onto a bulborb and attack all by themselves but 2 that ability was greatly diminished. (for gameplay reasons, I guess) So I'm not expecting the independent Pikmin in a Pikmin 5.

@@theheroneededwillette6964Read the Pikmin’s entires in the Piklopedia of this game. Olimar goes into Pikmin behavior. They pair with whomever plucks them in an effort to flourish the population. Whether through direct interaction with others or via the Onion, Pikmin spread their DNA. When you receive this DNA you are incapable of leaving PNF-404. Olimar speculates this is all in an effort to establish a permanent leader.

The Ancient Sirehound is kinda cute when it's not trying to kill you.

And is like the progenitor of moss, so Oatchi species lives so much time that when Oatchi species reaches certain elder age they grow giant and they start to use elemental abilities, after we vaccine oatchi, his tails returns to normal but imagine what if moss gets the vaccine too so she could go with olimar and have a Pet to help him on future adventurees

@@juanca2567 I think so. On the floor before the Sirehound Fight there are 5 Candypop Buds colored Red, Blue, Yellow, Purple, and White. So if you just save up Glow Seeds, and bring Rocks, Wings, and Icy’s to Cavern for a King then yeah you can.

I think this is the first time Louie has been actively malicious. In Pikmin 2, it was just a theorem that he was brainwashing the Titan Dweevil. In Pikmin 3, he was just being a greedy bitch. But now, he's going to literally let a dog die.

Yeah it went beserk cuz of Louie. The dog seems to be more gentle after that pretty sure it was always good and I think it went along with Moss and The Pikmin to join their group as their protector. Now The Pikmin have even more ally’s to keep them safe from the bugs.

How come this Sirehound doesn’t have a wiki article or some kind of backstory involvement with Louie

I don't know if anyone else is thinking the same, but I think the Ancient Sirehound might be the old companion of the Sage Leaf. I have a theory that they arrived on PNF-404 (in this timeline) a long time before the events of this game and didn't make it, just like how Olimar didn't. He became obsessed with Dandori, leaving the Sirehound all alone while he works on his challenges since there was no one to cure him. Over time, he might've forgotten his old self like Olimar did but also gained a new personality after being leaf-ed for so long, since he says he can't remember his past and how this is who he is now. Kind of a cool bit of lore if true; I'm still a bit unsure about how this is basically an alternate timeline, but I do like how they're sticking with the occasional subtle storytelling!!

I’m shocked that the final boss is a giant Dog but honestly I should have expected it since there’s a lot of stuff in this game relating to dogs. Glad it still lives. Don’t like seeing dogs die even monstrous ones. I like to think that The Ancient Sirehound (The giant monster dogs official name) became good after the battle and joined Moss and The Pikmin as their giant protecter. It made it seem like it since he was walking along with Moss and The Pikmin. Now the Pikmin have a leader and a protector to keep them safe! Happy ending for everyone!😁👍

There are purple, White, ice, blue, red, yellow, and winged candypop buds in the cave, so you would have to enter with Rocks, a bunch of them, use glow seeds, and use 35 Rocks to turn into the other types, and yeah it should be possible, just really hard since you would have Rocks and 5 of red purple and ice as your Main attackers, along Oatchi. Really what most do of have like 50 purples 15 glows, 15 blues, 15 whites, and 5 ice pikmin on your first attempt, or at least it was like that for me.

Apparently the final boss is located in a cave called “Cavern for a king” it’s unknown if its shorter or longer than Dream Den: the Final boss’s cave of Pikmin 2.

A couple fun facts I noticed in my playthrough, but if you’ve collected the purple and white onions (and the rest of the onions) before the ending, 2 other onions will replace them! Idk if it’s random but in my playthrough, it was the red and winged onions for some reason. Not only that, but I think the game uses the top 4 Pikmin types in terms of how many there are in the cutscenes! Except maybe the blues since they might have to be there by default, but they were in the top 4 so it’s possible!

@@VileKnight4 first you need to complete olimar’s voyage 100%, and then you’ll get access to a cave with a bunch of Dandori challenges, on the 5th and 10th floor, you’ll get challenges that require you to bring the white onion (5th challenege) and the purple onion (10th challenge) back to the S.S Beagle

If you unlock the Sage Trials after doing Shipwreck Tale, you can actually get both of those as part of the trials.

probably now. it isn't very clear in the pikmin 2 timeline but in this pikmin 4 timeline it is more clear than mr white's meth that louie is an antagonist

I just like the idea that oatchi grows into this eventually and you essentially have/ride a dragon the size of a chihuahua

I like what Nintendo did at the end with all of the pikmin and the 2 onions, they randomized them for everyone so they didn't look the same

They really need to actually beat the crap out of Louie. He's controlled/been protected by like 3 monsters and steals food supply too much to not get a proper punishment...

Listen… I understand Louie. Imagine you found yourself stranded on a planet that you can live on, with food, shelter, and you get to be by yourself. But there are your colleagues hunting you down to bring you back to your home planet, where you would need to have a job, pay rent, work to survive. Louie just wanted to be left alone with his food lol

There’s something so much more harrowing about this boss fight than the other three

Dude we learned a lot from the ending and boss 1:purple and whites have onions just it won’t combine to make the master onion (exception from hey pikmin) 2: Louie is just pure evil 3: this game is tense

whats with louie and sitting on top of bosses who can use the weaknesses of pikmin to fight? or more specifically, what it with louie turning these harmless creatures into monsters...neither the dweevil nor "dog" seemed to be truly evil

Kinda getting the vibe Louie isn’t too much different from the other monsters on the planet. Dude just wants to eat. To the point of killing his comrades, or knowingly running a company into debt, or leaving ‘rescuers’ to starve… Louie just wants food with 0 thought to the consequence

The single greatest possible moment in gaming would be if someone killed Louie

I didn't know that the final boss would be a giant, hairy version of Oatchi along with Louie!

It is interesting that the final boss has some abilities from the smoky progg

I knew it. Louie is the final boss. Add: Though, I expected a final battle to the death against him. Guess that’s too much for this series. And also while the players and the commenters hated Louie so much they wants to kill him, the crews in the game has not enough hatred and anger to kill him, especially Olimar who still cares about him.

at 16:16 does anyone know what affects the colors of the two extra onions that show up alongside the main one during this scene? When I beat the game I saw two purple onions which I thought was weird as I collected all the onions in the game. I assume it's suppose to hint to you that the Purple and White Onions exist if you haven't gotten to them yet but then why change it?

I can't wait for a pikmin 5!

Louie is a villain BEYOND villians. HE IS THE LITERAL DEFINITION OF A ANTAGONIST

Does this part specifically allow you to have more than 3 types of pikmin or are the other locations? Becuase otherwise the game only allows you to have 3 types of pikmin.

you can have more than 3 types in a cave if you find wild pikmin in them, or use candypop buds

Also it seems like green pikmin have all immunities of other pikmin. Theyre immune to fire like red pikmin, immune to electricity like yellow pikmin etc which kind of makes all other pikmin obsolete for boss fights because you can just use green pikmin.

The dog is the caretaker for the pikmin now

Anyone finds it weird that The Siren Hound uses Electricity, fire, ice, and gloom (which is different from poison) but doesn’t use water or poison

This remind me of Garfield: Lasagna World Tour game where he and Odie battle against their evil counterparts

So Louie has finally revealed that he’s evil, huh? About time!

He could have picked 3 pikmin types, took them to the cave, found a 4th type and then used glow seeds to get the glow pikmin thus having 5 types

In my opinion I kind of think their all too stupid to realize it lol. No matter what I’m sure even after this they’ll still let Louie off the hook and keep working there. I just feel like they’re all that dumb. Except Olimar but I feel like he’s too nice of a guy and would probably give Louie another chance. I mean he was literally relieved that Louie was still okay after the fight.

Wait how can you play Pikmin 4? It haven't be out yet in french …

the final boss is just a greavard from pokemon scarlet and violet
