1:50 This person definitely played Pikmin 3. You can tell he has the pointer aimed at Beady's head, not realizing that the pointer is only mapped to the surface, and he's actually throwing them way behind Beady. Hope he got the hang of it eventually.

I don't know what to say. This is likely his first time playing. I would likely lose a good part of my army every time I fought one of these bosses for the fist time. This game after all, is harder than the other 3 pikmin games IMO. Because in Pikmin 2 you had purple pikmin that could slaughter anything with ease; and in Pikmin 3 the bosses also don't appear to have the highest defense of all time.

@@jollama I've played both versions. I feel like most OoB glitches are easier on GameCube, but crushing glitch doesn't happen nearly as often. On Wii it's damn near unavoidable.

God this comment section is terrible. Although this was 4 years ago, he simply made this video for our enjoyment, to watch and have fun observing. And most of you are judging him for his skills?? Like c’mon guys... who cares if he’s good? You don’t have to be good at a game to play it. Personally, I don’t see any problem with this game play

Beedy Long-legs, Burrowing Snagret, Goolix, and Emperor Bulblax all vanished without a corpse left after death, and leaving behind no soul... This seems intentional, I don't think the developers didn't add their souls because they were lazy, they all left no corpse too, so that's what happened to them in Pikmin 1, now what's interesting is that the new Beedy Long-legs, and the new Burrowing Snagrets, and Emperor Bulblaxes found in Pikmin 2 all left behind a soul after death, in the meantime, Goolix is no where to be found. Goolix could very well be the Umibozu, who went to become the Water Wraith, the question that needs to be answered is did the Water Wraith leave a soul after death? If it did, it will the Umibozu's complete soul, if not, then at least part of it.

You know, I don't normally say anything when a player is really bad at a game just because everyone has varying skill levels... But damn, I actually find it hard to fathom how someone can do this poorly against the bosses in this game. I know some of them can require a lot of practice to avoid losing ANY pikmin to, but you were actually reduced to a mere 5 pikmin left against the Smoky Progg because rather than stick to small numbers against it, you just threw in an entire army and let them all die.

I think it's funny how you never seem to realise the cursor shows where the Pikmin will land on the ground, not where they'll hit the enemy.

You're not supposed to let the yellow Pikmin get eaten by the Emperor Bulblax. You want them to throw the bombs at him.

Ok so, right now I’m beating all the Pikmin games (Pikmin, Pikmin 2, Pikmin 3, and Hey! Pikmin) I haven’t played Pikmin in a while, so you would expect me to do bad? I’m not gonna go and say I’m the best... Mediocre at most. When I completed Pikmin, I lost a total of 108 Pikmin. That is really bad. If I were to choose my favorite Pikmin game in the franchise, I would pick Pikmin 2, probably because it is not a 2D plat former,and it’s the longest between them all. So yeah, as you can tell, I love Pikmin.

The hardest boss throughout this whole game was the daddy longleg. It's so hard to see where he's going step and especially with a group of Pikmin behind you. There's absolutely no way to beat this boss flawlessly unlike all the others.

@@leociresi4292 easier said than done tho. I mean you have to get close to the center body to throw the pickman at him. And most people say just look at the shadows to where his feet is dropping down but let's just say you had about 50 or more pikmin with you... Trying to navigate them without getting stepped on, Every time I lose about probably 6 to 8 pikmins in this fight.

Its very funny to hear relaxing music while killing big and strong enemys

Armored Cannon Beetle reminds me of the Tanker Bugs from Starship Troopers and Goolix reminds me of Morpha from Zelda.

I understand now, you're not very good at fighting the bosses. So I'll give you some tips. #1 Call the mushroom Pikmin with your whistle to turn back to normal Pikmin, #2 You can wait till Beady Longlegs gets tired, and till Burrowing Snagret gets stuck in the ground while coming back up, then you'll want to attack them, #3 For the Goolix, you can stretch his body, and hit his soft organism to give a great amount of damage. Hope that helps. Yet Emperor Bulblax was not all that bad.

It feels so weird seeing blue pikmin fight the 3rd boss in the game. You know how late you discover blue pikmin in the other games? Edit: I like how the 3rd boss might be the adult version of the Armored Cannon Larvae from pikmin 3

I've never personally fought the smoky program but you lost 151 pikmin though the gold pearl does give a bunch but still that's a heavy loss here's to grinding pikmin

This happens in the Wii version specifically because it’s an earlier build of Pikmin compared to the GameCube version

Joseph Wagner Yeah but it's pretty awesome. In what other game can you find giant four legged arachnids, an oversized cell for a boss, mushrooms with evil intent, all the while still reflecting on the beauty of nature when you are not watching countless pikmin being killed?
