Honestly, I love that you referenced how Mawile and Sableye were supposed to be rivals, honestly amazing attention to detail. Despite being a Pokémon fan, I have to admit that Piglin won, his verses just hit harder. Piglin didn’t need Magic Bounce to send Sableye’s burns back at him.

I’d say the Piglin took some points off with the “weak to Bug-types” line; Sableye had no weaknesses until the sixth generation, which introduced the Fairy type.

I have some problems with that line, though: it wasn’t a diss at all (even if the line itself had a good Easter egg reference) and while I’m sure some are going to come at me, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, Brilliant Diamond, and Shining Pearl all exist.

It's so weird seeing one of my favorite pokemon in a rap battle, but I sure ain't complaining. This was fantastic! Everyone involved did a great job and I can't wait to see what more you make mate.

This one was pretty atmospheric, I dig this.

@@cdog3625 can we just have a discussion and have you reanalyze the battle’s lines? I need reasoning for why you thought the Piglin won, if any; also it doesn’t have to be too deep or too much.

Fun Fact: This is the second time Piglin rapped against a Pokemon, the first was against Emboar.

Exactly, and plus it also didn’t have any weaknesses until the sixth generation, when Fairy was introduced. As a result, the Piglin gets points taken off from that line.

hell yeah. minecraft vs pokemon. cant wait to see what gold bars the piglin drops. i was not suprised about how good this was. piglin won though sableye had some amazing bars. if your doing another minecraft rap battle then i want to see herobrine vs sonic.exe. they are quite similar to each over and i have not seen a rap battle with both of them yet.

@@etanexsists3086 I suppose we can agree to disagree, even if Piglin had a completely wrong line (the one about Sableye being weak to the Bug type) and a couplet with a variable effect that doesn’t hit me at all (the one with “Diamond Dust” in it to be exact; it didn’t like a true diss to Sableye and ORAS and BDSP exist and came out after Diamond and Pearl (though some may come at me)).

Sableye’s bars just hit harder because there were more specific disses to make. Piglin’s had some inconsistencies and were based more on the idea of the Pokémon rather than the actual.

Weird how I’m seeing more people going for Piglin; do they just not understand most of Sableye’s disses/factor those in? Do they not pay attention to the “weak to Bug-types” line being badly written and irredeemable? Do they simply go for who had more time or just don’t always want to side with the Pokémon character or, heck, even just care primarily for hearing them getting dissed? I’m sorry if I’m sounding rude by this point, but I genuinely thought Sableye took it and I feel as if more people should be saying the same. I also don’t particularly like the fourth couplet of the Piglin’s second verse (yes, I’m aware that BD/SP are bad (primarily because they’re too faithful to the original Diamond and Pearl), but ORAS also exists and the couplet doesn’t at all feel like a diss to Sableye to begin with). Now, I kind of wish at least one of the Piglin’s verses wasn’t longer than the corresponding Sableye verse in its round and that there was a line based around Sableye’s Ability Stall, but hey, we got a battle that I don’t think anyone else would have thought of so there’s that.

@@alexk9642 I am glad that you at least agree with me on who won. I am a big Pokémon fan and even did some research on the Piglin mob from Minecraft before watching this, so I understood the majority of what was being said. I was bewildered at how few people there were who thought Sableye won before I typed in my comment. While I’m aware that people’s opinions can differ and that not everyone needs deep reasoning for why they thought a side won, I genuinely expected to see more Sableye siders in the comments and was bewildered with what I saw in actuality.
