Hi, I had discussed with my vet in past and he told that of you will de-worm , vaccination prior to it will be void. So you have to vaccine again. but with the study I made recently, I found that there is no relation on vaccine and de-worm. It is is advised to do both at the 2 weeks interval to avoid any stress. what are your thoughts on de-worm medicine impact on vaccination we already made ? Thanks

Hi, I've learnt one thing don't believe what you hear and see lol .... I deworm prior to annual vaccination, its precautionary measure to treat for the said issue, the manufacturing guidelines state the same on vaccinations. Every loft will have a varying method and routine as to how things are done, I have been doing this for a long time with no adverse affects. I just fail to understand your vets reasoning in this, the whole idea is to treat for a possible issue, he must be aware you don't inoculate ill birds or birds under treatment. Timings may vary from product to product, stress is eliminated within a well structured program catering for all the necessities. Just to reiterate...stick to what works for you. Regards SSLOFTS UK

Hi Luke , there are various factors which could be the cause ...generally good strain does not require much motivation to fly around for few hours .. The most important is the health /condition of the birds just like an athlete... Send me an email or inbox me with strain info, general feed and how they are fed, any illness recently?

Brother. Keep them healthy with basic rules. Then, separate the genders. Let the males only fly and let the females only fly. Not together. Each get their own turn at different times.

is there tipplers that fly as high as high flying pigeons.

Hughes and few others tend to fly high... but not as you'll see with i.e. Pakistani high flying birds.
