I don't think you need that much of soap for the birds. Bird hair are not that dirty they only has dust and they also has nature oily on their own hair. However to much soap will making their hair dry out.

All those chemical shampoo are already bad for humans so for pigeons it’s not adapted, also they can wash by themselves

"Are you trying to kill her!" etc. This video is SEVEN YEARS OLD as of my own comment, and if you click on his account, you'll see that Angel the Pigeon is still alive, healthy, and flying. Somehow, she survived careful handwashing with warm water and baby soap, a process you can tell she clearly enjoys, for years and years. Ugh. Look before you comment. Please.

Because they get dirty and the dirt is not easily coming off

This is not the way to give bath to birds

I would use castille or glycerin soap to avoid those harsh chemicals that "we" shouldn't even be using. You can find both at any decent health food store.

They dont need a glyzerin soap, just water like rain temperature. Good is mineral water without gas, because before they like drink water. After they seat and alone take a bath by themselves. Water should be till feet, not deeper.

Poor pigeon

People should never use Baby Shampoo or other Soaps on Pigeons Doves and other Birds to Bathe them

That is a lot of stress for the bird

Not good for pigeon a soap,or shampoo. Feathers and skin can be dammidged. Bath only in a cool water, like rain temperature. They drink before water usually, and after by own seat and bath. Water should be till feet,not deeper.

Put him a mineral water without gas( without oxygin), room temperature or a rain temperature. Not deep untill feet. They drink before,after take a bath and seat by own. Dont need your help,let time. If you have bath before with chemical things,he might be afraid now. Just a good water is good, what taste good, evian water. Or from clean river( there much minerals from stones, shells). Let him a full day a bascet of water to stay. If he dont like, you can put next day. They like bath,when is hot or warm sunny weather. When cold they dont like. Please take care of your pet. Give him also calzium( egg shell pushed with a spoon to powder, give also a gritt, and river round shell sand, no other sand. If sand is a sharp, they get it to brain. It must be a round corns of shell sand. Not chemical white powder sand,its not naturall. They eat by themselves. You can give a white clay or teracotta clay also. But sand they need, its their teeth in stomach. Otherwise they be dead. Dont push him in mouths, they need and take by own as oft as they want.

No not. They dont need a soap, shampoo, and condicionar. Just mineral water without gas,room temperature. Not deep, till feet. They drink first,after they baths by themselves. No chemie please. I am ornitologe( birds doctor). If they have parasites, little fresh kurkuma juice in water, but little, or cumin in water ( without salt)

Its dangerious. Only a mineral water room temperature, they bath by own. Before they like to drink. They hate chemical things. In nature they bath in warm rain water on floor. It should be till feet,not deeper

No chemical things, nothing please. No soap. Just a mineral water with no gas oxyd. Just a water room temperature. They take a bath by own. This guy do very wrong. Pigeon always before like to drink the water you gave for bath. Dont kill a bird! Its not good please.
