My family let me play the album when we played a family game. They said stuff like "lol what's he saying", "u know he's screaming and not singing right" and "my ears hurt" while laughing at the jokes they all made about it. My brother then turned it off when I quickly went out of the room and everyone acted like nothing happened when I came back. I'm probably never going to show them my music again.

They're in a place right now where they don't know what else to do. If you're gonna be mean, go some place else. I mean, yeah, they shouldn't be cutting. But that's because their lives are actually worth more than they think. And they shouldn't cut because there are people out there who really care, and are willing to listen when they're upset. I went and saw Pierce the Veil in concert in myrtle beach November 15th of this year. When I got home, I found my brother dead on the bathroom floor from an overdose. I remember making him listen to this song 10 years ago, when I was 18, to let him know his addiction was hurting me. I wanted him to feel like it’s not uncommon and he wasn’t alone in his pain. Funny how things can circle back around. Now I lay in the bed he slept in listening to this alone. “Brother, promise you won’t ever leave me.”

NO ONE WANTS to start cutting. They just feel so LOW that they can't see how amazing they are. They NEED someone to tell them they're gonna be okay. That someone still cares. That YOU care. Beautiful Odds I don't remember where, but I remember hearing that this song is about how mike felt when Vic was suicidal and how he didn't want to lose him. Also, Johnny was a drug addict so he wanted to stop. " I let you down and I started to run never meant to be your pain. Oh my god, what have I become?" This is how they felt that they let everyone down without the intention and they are realizing the repercussions of their actions of others. happy 10th year anniversary to one of my favorite album of all time. I got to know Ptv from a friend back in 2012 when they showed me King for a Day music video. I went on to listen the whole album and fell in love with them instantly. The songs in this particular album has helped me got through the tough times in college.

I love this song. The lyrics have a lot of meaning to me. PTV has saved my life and I love them.

I had a song that felt like it was written about me. It was about being lonely and having no one. It felt so good after all the hard things I went through listening to that song again and thinking: That was me. But now I am not alone anymore. So Lily, I hope you can feel that too one day when listening to this song. It is the best feeling in the world.

This story tragically played out in my own life. But I had to leave my friend. I was caught up in it too. I had to leave the drugs and my friend. To keep myself alive. I will forever be sorry that I wasn't strong enough to help my friend.

Legitimately one of my top favorites

I just have to say. Out of all the collaborations Vic and Pierce the Veil have done over the years. Kellin Qunn. Johnny Craig, Craig Owens, Chiodos Lindsey Stamey. The time he sang Hold on til May with Jenna McDougall Even when he was in Isles and Glaciers with Jonny Craig and Craig Owens, this is by far my favorite. Jason Aalan Butler is a badass.
