You just got a new subscriber! Incredible video, every minute is fun to watch and no waste of time just to add up the minutes. By the way, have you ever been fishing off the 3 piers off of the gulf coast of Anna Maria? Great shark fishing, just nailed a nice 7 foot sandbar shark and 2 6 foot lemons the other day! you should definitely check it out!

Thanks for the support! Usually, when I go out for the normal fishing day I use a 40 size fin nor lethal paired with a 7’6 rod. That’s for snook and reds and jacks, and even smaller shark 2-3’. For trout and bass, I’ll use a 30 size reel and a medium light rod. Which can also be used for snook and reds. All personal preference. I just run 30 lb braid on both setups.

Little late, but those fish will hit about anything! Try a gold spoon

Tryin bleeding the max out soon as u get em..makes for better filets..imo

what do you recommend for snook at this place? should i use live bfait or artifiicials and if live should i do shrimp or something like finger mullet

Live bait, on a circle hook 😄 be sure to use leader. I like using pin fish. let them swim under the pier. hard spot to snook fish with all the structure. Will probably get cut off. Would be better to fish off the beach for them.

Is there someone on that pier cleaning and filleting the fish for you ? Or was that someone that was with you ? 👍🏼

Hey man I’m going down there this Saturday for a week and I wanna catch my first snook, where should I fish (peir or beach), what bait, and if it’s off the beach how far should I be casting? Pls respond

Snook are spawning off the beaches right now. Stick your bait in that first trough if you can in the morning & evening. Start fishing first hour of sunrise/sunset. Good luck!

Yes I catch them all the time off the beaches. I never finished putting out the videos. Maybe I will post it some day. I was there yesterday diving to see what’s down there

Best thing to do is just get there and see what everyone else is doing. Bait and technique can change, so adapt to how others are catching them and you should be able to hear that drag scream 🐟😁 good luck!🍀

Going down here in mid November for my honeymoon and looking to get me and my fiancée on some fish. Got any tips for mid November? Grew up in North Texas so have no clue about ocean fishing. Want to catch everything I possibly can.

Man I’m not sure, all depends on the weather. Just get out and fish is my only advise. Sometimes we are on them, sometimes not bud.

Anything shiny. Spoons are great. Don’t use the ones with the treble hooks.

You need to learn how to release fish!!! Respect the fish!!! You just hooked it in the mouth and pulled it out of the water. The least you could do is release the fish properly!!!
