I’ve been saying for years Burton should be nsw 6 too. You want to select guys that give THE BEST defenders problems. Burtons bombs do that. He also has link with all Penrith boys. He also showed so much fight and passion for the blues jumper

Controversial idk why it is though but I’d go 6Burton 7 Hynes 9 Cleary (c) when all fit. More creativity and X factor in halves, Cleary can still kick long & gets his hands on more. Less likely to be bullied by grant and hunt too. Nsw fans seem to feel it’s disrespecting Cleary even tho it’s nsw blues not Nathan fc & half joeys rep games are 9 with kimmorley 7

If jurbos last name was anything other than Trbojevic he wouldn't even be in consideration for origin, he is a plodder and has been for the last 3 or 4 years

I agree Dearden 6 but think it’s wrong to say only crazy people are saying Mam. He has double Deardens Tries, assists, line breaks and wins this season carrying without Reynolds. So much more pressure at the Bronx than cows too. Had a way better year last year than Tom and will again this year. I’m deardens biggest fan watched calve up for Palm Beach but he’s not developed much since Bronx. He was a tough mongrel who put 110% in a losing side every week then and he is now still but quality isn’t always there. Tom only selected bc like u said Kempy his defence, age and qld have enough sauce. But Mam is the better player overall imo for most clubs

As a queenslander just don't understand how any nsw supporter could want Luai in a blue jumper again after game 2 last year. Blues attack was awful both games, especially game 2. Series was on the line and Luai came up with nothing all game, Walsh blitzed them, cut them to shreds. After failing to do anything in the game, down 32-6 he seeks out Walsh, headbutts him and gets sent off with a minute to go. Smiling and laughing as he's booed off, the whole way off. Joking with the crowd to boo louder. Not a care in the world.

Cant be Luai, played twice in 2023 and lost them both and got sent off. Cody came in and they win, albeit a dead rubber. Walker or Burton is fine.

Walkers ahead of Luai and Burton, but Luai is definitely over Burton too. Burtons a better centre than 6

@@javesampson5961 Burton played centre at Panthers, 6 at dogs. Of course it's gonna seem like he's better at centre (which is also an easier position). But surrounded by good players and with Hynes steering the ship beside him (instead of Drew Hutchinson), Burton could do a job.

@@Mahatheyew he easily is a better centre than 6. It’s been three years of him at 6 and still to this day he’s played better at centre just like how he did for nsw in 2022 and the kangaroos in 2022. He doesn’t have the ball playing to be a 6 at origin level imo. That’s why I’d prefer him to just be a strike centre at origin

Why are these 3 banging on about these origin halves or 6s for NSW..not one of them can fucking tackle

More I listen to this episode I think that kemp doesn’t know shit about league..if he can talk about league and make a living..then so can everyone that watches it can

Still stop 5 in the assists which no one seems to want to talk about lol. It’s more to it than form being the reason you should get selected. Walker at his best is the best ball playing 6 in the comp and domainted last year in game 3. He’s easily in the team

@@MotivatedMan obviously stats aren’t everything. But people wanna act as if Walker is just the worst 6 in the comp atm when it’s far from the truth. The try assist totals just confirm that he’s playing well enough that he should be on the discussion and he’s already performed well in origin before. Mix of form and previous origin experience is what should make him selected imo.

Dylan Edwards is the most overrated player in the NRL. looks good in the Penrith system, take him and out and he gets exposed

No idea why Walker is even in the conversation the bloke shouldn’t even be playing first grade. Rather have tiger era Luke Brooks than Walker.
