My best friend and I were driving around yesterday and she played this for me in the car. The windows were down and my hair was blowing everywhere and the first touch of fall weather was cold on my face. And I could feel Jesus so, so close to me. As a child my definition of love was hateful words, screaming and inadequacy. A fathers love was constantly being told I was nothing and he didnt want to even acknowledge me. It was a hide and seek game with his heart. Entering college my friends began to try to change me view of what love should be. Only then did I realize just how broken I was. This song became a promise to me. A promise that God's love was true and never failing. He would always give His heart to me in full. Thank you for this beautiful reminder of what love is.

I have suffered from depression for a long time...i lost both my parents when i was quite young. attempted suicide twice..lost my brother and my sister. I have felt so distant from God lately. So much has been going on and going wrong...been feeling suicidal...2 days from my 40th birthday because i feel like such a failure. wasted opportunities..This song has touched me. Its reminded me that God loves me just as I am, flaws and all. He doesnt give his love in pieces.

yesterday, my mother married my now step father. my brother and i were the first ones the walk down the isle, the other bridesmaids and 2 ring bearers followed (my step father, other groomsmen, and pastor walked out onto the stage from backstage before everyone walked down the isle). this song makes me cry anytime i hear it because it reminds me of how emotional it was seeing my mother and step father so happy to tie the knot, in the comfort of our church with our friends and family🤍

I played this for my niece who is not religious at all, and it moved her to tears. So beautifully put she felt love, and moved her to have faith and believe.

This song has really sent me over the edge! I recently reconnected with my love from 33 years ago. God has seen fit to bring us together and He is working on healing our hearts so we can come together with WHOLE hearts and not give our hearts to each other in pieces! @go green Lemme try to explain it from my interpretation.. Whenever we ask God something that we want, be it a good life, or to save us from hardships and sorrow, but even after many many prayers of asking, it just sometimes feels like nothing really change or he just doesnt answer our prayers which feels as if he is hiding from us... But the line `U dont hide urself to tease us' could mean that when it seems like He doesnt hear our prayers or feels like He is just hiding... His purpose will never be just to tease us in life of hardships and sorrow.. But as we all know He is the God who knows all our prayerss and His plans are better than our plans.. He has a better purpose when it seems like He is hiding

+SHaiLuVsTaCos I was in a QnA with Bethel Music just last week, and they were sharing various stuff. I think I remember Amanda sharing how "Closer" was originally her song and journey, but Steffany's was the voice that got to carry it out to the world. In a similar way "Pieces" was written with words and concepts out of Steffany's journal, which Amanda was allowed to refine into a song :) At one point all the different artists were sharing about their favorite worship-songs, and they definitely like each others' stuff, and listen to it a lot I'd imagine!

If anyone's really FELT God's Love, there's no way you can percieve the lyrics of this song from a worldly perspective, because no human can love like this. Guaranteed. This song still brings me to tears. It takes me to this place of worship that i cant explain.

This song along with We Dance by Bethel is in our wedding video. It shows Gods love for us, and then love we desire to love each other with. We love because He first loved us.

I been so sad and lonely and depressed but god has me covered and he gives me confidence.

This song broke through illusions fear and pain for me. I love it. Sometimes God speaks through music to me. This one was more like having it breathed into my soul. Strong overpowering and gentle.

After listening to this song and being blessed by how much God loves us; it occured to me that maybe, just maybe, if we loved each other as thus, the world would be a better place. If we did not love selfishly, gave our hearts in pieces, did not love passively, never broke our vows, words, promises...we would be better people. Not only is this the most creative worship album lyrically in years, but it is riddled with time signature changes. Most hymns and praise songs stick with either 4/4 time or 3/4 time, and very rarely 6/8 time. There is nothing wrong with that, but it takes a better songwriter to write progressive music. This is basically a progressive worship style.

God loves in a way that is so radically opposite than that of the world

My 9 year old daughter loves to sing this song, I love to hear her sing it.

Sometimes, it's easy to believe that God can deliver a person but difficult to believe the person would ever allow it to happen. When trust is gone, you see the situation from a broken perspective.

This song is just so powerful. I am so thankful for the encouragement it brings, because God really, really loves us! and this song is a good reminder of that.

This is just awesome worship. Lately I've been feeling distant from God. I bless the Lord for this group especially Miss Steffany. I've been playing this for about 2-3 days non-stop and I'm being healed and His Spirit is near me. Praise God.
