Welcome to a new scene.
In this week's video i decided to go for a quick walk in Porvoo.
It's the day before i left on holiday outside of Finland.
Spring is now in its most beautiful stage, i really love this time of year.
Bright colors, almost fluorescent by the sun, the trees and grass are not yet overgrown and perhaps most importantly: there are hardly any flying insects around (they will come soon).
So you might be thinking: Porvoo again?
The answer is quite simple: i wanted a tourist city close to Helsinki.
People traveling to Helsinki will almost always make a day trip to Porvoo, it is a city not to be missed when visiting Southern Finland.
Of course there are other beautiful authentic cities in the south, but they require a longer journey from the capital Helsinki.

Hi Sevy ! Hope you’ve spent good Time during your holidays. What a wonderful vidéo and … a good idea! I’ve planned to spend one or two days in Porvoo this summer when I will stay in Helsinki in July. I am so impatient! Good morning Martine, thank you, it was refreshing to catch up with family. Brilliant idea, Porvoo is a must-do location if you are staying near Helsinki, here you will also find plenty of small souvenir shops. That is good news indeed, Lapland is a beautiful destination during the Christmas period, but beware of the real tourist areas, there are extremely expensive activities. That's right, summer has really arrived with temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius, we are all getting fried now. I wish you good weather and safe travels in Finland. Greetings to beautiful Nice. 👋💛🌞
