Que buenos videos los Videos de James!!!! , Los Felicito , hace poco pude tener mi primer Picoscope serie 3000 , algun dia voy a tener mi serie Automotive, pero igual disfruto cada vez que uso su equipo y gracias a estos videos puede sacar mas provecho al software pico 7. Thanks for the link. It wasn't really what I was looking for. I'm really looking for ways to apply some of the advanced triggering types to real world automotive application. I would like to find a way to create a fault in a car and then show students how that fault can be detected using one of the advanced triggers in the Pico software. I currently have simulated a Runt but I can't seem to get the trigger to reliably trigger on it. I will say the runt dues have a variable spike when it is turned on and this might be creating some runt triggering inconsistencies.
Been using Pico for 25 years, sorry but NEVER been able to use advance trigger for automotive successively with changing dwell or frequency signals, can you show us how to lock a trigger on a complex cam shaft signal?

Hi Alex, the best trigger option would be to use the 'Pulse Width' trigger type but with a compromise. I've asked Steve Smith of the Pico Automotive team to get in touch with you to follow up this question.

Properties has been removed from PS7. All the necessary information from properties is now shown in the scope panel where the sweep or timebase is controlled.
