So who is winning the shakedown contest? Pico or Mr. Zero?

the reason why he’s missing his question about his machine is because it was removed in the American version of the game cuz he said “faster than a speeding bullet” which is a copyrighted quote to Superman. that question was left in the japanese version but removed in the american release

This guy is pretty interesting. Here we see him as a blood-thirsty beast, but in his Special Video he's way more tempered, caring not to hit civilians, and even keeping a special wooden target for Black Shadow (evil), as well as much better fit. I'm thinking about the theory he might be bipolar. Is that him being himself, is a characteristic of his species, or is just the creators not being sure which personality to give him? Enough reasons for him being my racer of choice for custom machines ^_^

He's a mercenary. I think he wants to hunt Black Shadow because he may have an extraordinarily large bounty on his head. Also, the special video was about Pico polishing up his license to kill. I suppose the requirements are the same when you're going to apply for a concealed carry permit. Who knows.

Alpharius93 What I hope is that in the next F-Zero, he doesn't move the way he does on the interviews and give him a more concrete personality. Ah, and make his car better. Same goes to space angler and spark moon.

DarkSchneider005 Oh yes. In general, interview animations were quite simple (although the game is quite aged right now).

This game has probably the most unfitting voice actors...

I dunno why Pico sounds like that... but I still like Pico, my favorite Racer of the series.

Wild Goose Haters can taste the blades of Pico-the machine's made to be a rush machine(good defense, attack and okay speed. But a heavy machine won't have acceleration or grip backing it up, but it makes up for not having to drift all of the time.) I've beasted with Pico-he's my main.

@Baschemon He is a little old, so he haves a grumpy voice and a little treble por his age (124 years, maybe like a older adult for his race)

Oh god. The animation is so unsettled.

@Baschemon Well, Pico doesn't have a good machine overall, the Grip is some slidy, the boost is poweful, but is uncontrollable unless you how to drift. Body is his best part, mostly endures in most courses. Sometimes he violently attacks you, but most of the time he is very easy to dodge. That's the problem of Pico, he always look for attack machines. Sometimes he falls in some circuits, using Booster excessively.

@SilverStingPhantom39 I figured that after learning about his age and so on, so I guess it makes sense. Still Pico can kick some ass... Not as an AI though, He always finishes in the back of the pack (Unless you race Casino Palace's first track, he'll sometimes finish high up in the ranks like close to 1st place.

It's weird, given how they describe him and how he acts in his ending video (he is the ONLY character to get a cool video instead of a comedy thing) I always imagined his interviews would be more of a grunt, then he snaps Zero's neck and saunters off. Seems weird to see him bopping around like that.

@SAMBHU01 I've never heard the Japanese voice for Pico but American voice translating actors tend to mess a lot of good characters up. I'd love to hear Pico's Japanese voice however!

@Baschemon I prefer the japanese voice is more hardcore. Remember english translator always screw up hardcore / evil characters.

Man, I love Pico, but... no one can accuse this game of having good voice acting. (Miles better than, say, Mega Man 8, but still...)

JEEZ... both versions from the game and the anime are intimidating, and are both killers but they are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! The one in the anime is a silent but deadly bounty hunter whereas here he's a blood thirsty psychopath. What is up with this guy?

Yeah, uh se, F-ZERO GX for the GameCube has no Japanese VAs. They're all english. SEGA & Amusement Vision just suck at voice direction.

Cool game, but they always say corny stuff in their interviews.
