that's not just in Baki but the real Musashi did too I read his book and everything he did in fighting was just an extension of his body and using methods of his normal day (like cleaning) into his fighting style, that is why he is the world greatest swordsman

The one thing I never understood about this match was how detailed the "Science" behind the cuts were, yet the edges of the elbows, knees and shoulders were not completely cut off, yet it shows a clean cut around the circumference of targeted areas.

A weapon is still a weapon. You cant blame pickle when the RAzor claws and teeth are part of his own body. a katana is an outside weapon and a great one at that too. Its durable it has range it can cut throw anything and its in the hand of someone who has mastered it. You must understand that its not very fair in someway.

Now if the rules said that a katana is permitted then the rules allow that so its fine. Tbh i think if pickle was super aggressive from the start and used cannon stance then attacked nonstop/ wrestled or grabbed his arms then ate him musashi wouldve lost. Pickle got baited too much into musashis attacks and musashi won as perfectly as possible. As a result pickle thought he is as difficult as a wasp when in reality he got out strategized in what pickle thought was just a wild beast vs wild beast fight.

He's stating that he has the bad habit of not holding back, which resulted in him being able to cut down most of his enemies with one slash in the past. That's why he wished for someone whom he could cut with more than once with his full strenght. And Pickle was that someone. Musashi wanted to see how much he can cut Pickle. He used his full strenght the entire time with each slash.

@@maythesciencebewithyou Musashi's Sword-less Style is his actual strongest style, not his Sword Style, he could have ended the fight at any time that he wanted to. Musashi held back against Pickle as Pickle was essentially just a training block for him to cut. If he used his full strength, Pickle would have been diced, this is the same guy that Yujiro who is also above Pickle considers an Era to Era Equal.

There is a weapon argument to be had tho. A sword and in this case a katana is a force multiplier. Musashi is great, don't get me wrong but clearly having a piece of sharpened iron gives you an edge in any melee.
