I was a picker for VanGen services at worcester 1989 -1994 and I loved it!!!. 12 hour nights / 6 nights a week. The money was fantastic and the lads i worked with great. I still have dreams about that job.

I did this for around a year and a half as an agency worker for some Sainsburys warehouse depot. Wore that damn Red Prairie wrist-watch + scanner system which tracks your CPM performance. There's only so much of this sort of shit work you can take before you give up and leave to find some other type of work, which isn't so demanding of you. Your feet hurt after a long-ass 8-9 hour shift as you're constantly moving, no time to rest. Working in the Ambient chamber with those MHE was always better than working in the Chill chamber, of course. It was sort of fun but it's definitely not the sort of work you want to be doing for years on end though, hell no.

Did and currently do this in the UK and can get around £500 per week. it's ridiculously easy money for putting boxes in cages, might get boring but silly easy money.

u need to mk videos on how to cheat red prairie n others like it lms etc i remember at c&s we used to pick like 10 cases (at one time)type the location in on the lift truck computer one at a time..so u type it in tell the computer u put two..make another transaction in another area of the warehouse then put in that same location where u put the 10 cases..so the system think it took u 5 seconds to get from aisle 40 to aisle 55 our percent used to jump up like a million % lol

Like a ghost picking? I use to do that alot at DHL/NISA Livingston, UK! Like, have to put 100 products and they are already there, then you just confirm you put them and at the end of the assignment you just come back and take the full pallett, cheating the system :)))

I worked in a tesco warehouse, we wear a machine on our arm at the tesco warehouse, I forgot the name of the machine now. That machine measures performance. My performance was low, what should I do to improve performance?

I was do the same in Poundland (Harlow) for 3 months. You lift so heavy things only for 7,70-7,83. Need to wrap the pallets on the wrapping machine and the cages manually. Need to be careful when change the LLOP battery also. If something is finish need to go to the" bank" to tell and wait to come the driver of the FLT to download it, sometimes takes 15-20 min for this. No more warehouses, i have done with this. So heavy work for only 7,83 this year. Door supervisor don't do nothing and take more than 9,00 or 10 per hr.

+Kapernakus07 Incorrect. I've worked in warehouses my whole life and 99 percent of people who do this work are uneducated. Many of which also have criminal records, as many warehouses are con friendly (which is fine btw). I speak from experience, so if you disagree with my assessment, at least choose another adjective to call me besides naive.
