Hello. Congrats on the new phone!! I recently got my own iphone 14 in deep purple and I love it! I looked at the Max, but it was a bit big for my taste. This is the first new phone I've bought in several years and it's amazing, and yes, I got the Apple Care. In between pets and kids it's a good thing to have in case the worst happens. Your pink case looks cute btw!

I'm in love with the Apple silicone covers. I have the iPhone 13 with their case and a dozen others I bought, and I always end up using theirs more.

I find those ones break so easy on me. Not sure why and for $60 CAD it's not worth it for me. I rather get a very similar product on Amazon for only $15 CAD and it's much easier on the wallet to replace. But I love the silicon case type!

Yes, for some reason I still have my iPhone boxes I have the 12 pro max box. I have the 13 Pro Max box and now I have the 14 Pro Max box still.😆🤣🤪👍🏿📱

If it works for you then that's great! For me it's just throwing $250 down the drain. I've never once had a situation where I'm like shoot should've got apple care. My item always burns out from wear and tear first

Never upgrade if you have the gen before or before that. And if it works fine upgrading is unnecessary. It's the same iPhone essentially after the iPhone x and 11 lol. Just bigger.

Ever since I got an iPhone 3G or any Apple product I always get the Apple Care but I stopped when I got my iPhone 12PM and onwards. It was handy to have but I never really used it. Only when I need battery change. And they fight you if your battery health is not under 80% but I always insist bec I planned on selling my older devices. Also you still pay a fee of around $35 to change battery. Now I just trade it back in with them. And I take care of my devices so well, it’s like new. And I also upgraded my gold 13PM to the deep purple 14PM.

I always get AppleCare on my iPhones, peace of mind and I even got a new battery for my iPhone 11 which didn’t cost me anything extra and has extended the life of the phone for a couple more years!

Thanks! Except it's still $100 deductible on top of the $250 you pay. So depends if you truly need it and are clumsy with your phone. I find accidentals are mostly a scam in this cause. I've never had to use it so I'd just be throwing money down the drain.

I just got one two weeks ago. Not too bad. Unfortunately I can’t seem to get everything transferred from my Samsung.

I know I’m 2 months late for this😢 buttt I just got the iPhone 14 pro max 156gb and I have the esim and it didn’t take to long at all for me I know people had trouble with it but I found it to be very simple actually!

i do love the silicone boxes but if your a clumsy person and when bored you pick things i do not recommend. i drop my phone alot and it will chip the phone case. and it’s easy to pick at when i’m bored.

me my brother and my mom bought it the 14 pro max deep purple however it takes ages for it to deliver because they don't have it in stock

The other day I pre ordered the IPhone 14 Plus , I got it in that product red in 256GB , I could have got the pro max but I preferred the plus cause of the bezeling around the phone and I prefer the red 😂

i recently got the 14 pro max in silver. when i got my 12 max i was really annoyed that the only colour they had in stock of 512gb was graphite and i really wanted silver but the storage came above that so i went with graphite. and was so happy that this time i got to own the silver. however i'm regretting the fact i got another max and wish i went with the pro as my 12 max was too big for me. no idea why i didn't think about this before getting the 14 max -.-

hey there. the new iPhones do come with a sim eject tool if you do not live in the USA. but I dont think you will have one as Canada is apart of the USA I'm pretty sure. congrats on the getting the new iPhone 14 pro max!

The new one didn't come with one. So Canada is a different country than the USA and in Canada we still have the SIM cards for the iPhone. Only in the USA are they e-sim only. But thanks!

The purple is so cute, but am I the only one that thought they were going to come out with that Orange/Bronze color that was floating around? 😫 I wanted that one so bad specifically because I’m a Scorpio and that’s our Zodiac color so I was a little disappointed to see that didn’t happen. But the purple still pops

so i never got apple care either. before my before my ipad broke and i went to go get it fixed but they refused to fix it cause they wanted me to pay $230 upfront to give me a replacement ipad before taking my broken one to fix it. and i was LIVID. i was like you didn't tell me that over the phone. so i think i shoudl've gotten apple care to have it fixed but that is my mistake i guess.

i've done both. it doesn't matter. nowadays i buy straight from Apple and pic a carrier. but before i went to AT&T and got a phone w/ a plan. it's the same really.....no difference.

Does anyone know if you get to the Apple store right when they open and tell them you want a 14 pro max in silver and if they get a shipment that morning they will give it to you verses looking online ?

On the day of launch? likely no because they're all pre-reserved. Unless you are there hours before they open to stand in line to hope to get one. If you go a few weeks after launch you might be able to!

I just upgraded to a 14 Pro Max myself. I got Space Black. The last iPhone I had was a 12 Pro in Pacific Blue.

You need one for this big camera it sticks out way more than the 13 pro max and don’t get apple case your phone will be broke

that's fair. It's definitely bigger. I would suggest just getting the regular version not the Max version of an iPhone! iPhone 13s are harder to come by now that the 14's are out.

I get Apple Care every time. My daughter had an iPad Air (1 gen) that died completely after 22 months and they replaced it no questions). Then 2 months after I bought my iPhone 12 PM I was out on a walk and it fell out of my leggings pocket - only noticed when AirPods audio dropped out - I returned just in time to see a car driving over it! No damage to body but wifi / cellular connectivity was gone. Apple replaced it with no cost or questions! Now you can pay monthly it’s even better!

I don’t get Apple care however I’m in Australia so our warranty is different here

Btw apple care plus is absolutely worth it…now it covers unlimited accidental damages to your expensive iPhone. You crack the back glass and it’s $549 for a replacement/repair on that… $29 with apple care plus Also, with apple care plus you can request an express replacement where apple sends you a replacement after putting a hold on your CC then you receive it and mail back the damaged or defective iphone.

I was pretty lucky I guess. I assume someone didn't pick up their phone, that's why this one became available. My apple store literally got like 100 to purchase on launch day. otherwise people would be waiting well into November to order one

How much did it cost in the store. Cause online it says 1,200 dollars. But in the store it said 1500 😭😭 I’ve been trying to look online about how much it’ll cost in-store.
