Nice watch. It's good to see that Ulysse Nardin is back in your good graces. If I may make one suggestion. As someone who has ADD (which obviously you do too), take a breather once and a while and just listen. You had a gentleman explaining the enamel dial process to you and you completely ignored him. Sometimes content is worth sacrificing when you have the opportunity to learn. Especially from someone who has years of experience. Just my 2 cents. Cheers.

Congrats on receiving this piece…having said that Nico..would have been cool to see more of the watch. Even the shots inside showcasing the art of making the dial (dial hands) and historical (which I was extremely excited at first 🤔) …unfortunately, whomever you had filming was ..well…unfortunate insofar it was a missed opportunity for such an occasion as this. It’s not as if you can get this moment back, as beautiful of a timepiece it is..can’t go back In time….the filming of this was a hot mess imho.

Worst camera guy ever. There was not one single shot of any of the watches from up close for the viewers to see and enjoy. No one even knows what the dials look like or what colors they were. He just had the camera on Nico. Plus Nico should learn to use some better words than the word F**K. I counted more than 20 F**ks in a 20 minute video. Thats 1 F**k per minute. 🤦‍♀🤣🤣

Bro i get it, but you'd be surprised how many if Nico's watchers/subscribers aren't actually watch people. A good chunk, including me, is only starting with the hobby and was just reeled in by Nico's personality. Cameraman could've done better but this is Nico's make-the-most-money-with-the least-amount-of-work-done channel. Basically, just an extra source of income + promotion. Compare the quality of this vs his main channel (and his first few videos compared to the rest) you'll see just how much work is put in. The problem here was, this should have been a main channel video. And not just some random vlog for his extra channel.

Why would we need to see the actual watches talked about in this video? Stupid comment! I came here to look lovelingly up nico nose for 20 mins and listen to him swear constantly while giggling about white powder. Educating us about watches that we don't actually see makes perfect sense. I close my eyes when I watch the discovery channel! I went to see the mona lisa wearing a blind fold to enhance the experience with a friend with Tourette Syndrome!

The emotion at the end made up for all the times I cringed at the lack of focus when the artists were taking the time to show and tell. We love you for your personality as well, but this was a moment to dial it back. I am happy that your piece made you pause and take it in. It explains the uncontrollable excitement during such crucial moments. A tip for the cameraman and editor; storytelling 101 - show us, don’t tell us. All of this was exposé, when the action was RIGHT THERE 😭. BUT; congratulations. You deserve this. Purely for your unbridled passion at the very least. You have no idea how many of us common fuckers you’ve turned into passionate enthusiasts of the art of time. PS; I rap for a living 😂. The UN perpetual in platinum with the blue dial is absolutely gorgeous. And the genius of that perpetual calendar design which added just eight parts I think? When the right one comes up it'll be in my collection for sure.

And that's how the watch became a myth. Hearing all about it but never actually seeing it.

I enamel jewellery and the skills involved in the enamelling of these dials is insane. Also with enamelling once you put it in the kiln to bake it can all go wrong and completely fck the piece. Too hot,too long or a touch of water a speck of dirt etc and even if you get that all right it might crack as it cools … cool to see this.

Congratulations, I really love the brand , got familiar with it when I was a sales rep for the brand in the Caribbean, their craftsmanship is really at the highest level not to mention their really complicated movements

UN is criminally overlooked. My first “nice” watch I bought as a graduation gift to myself was a UN San Marco GMT Big Date. I’ll never part with it willingly. That said, I’m a little iffy on the styling of most of UN’s offerings as of late.
