There aren't many mustangs that I envy people having...this is one! He reminds me so much of my old mare... except he's showing a lot more sense than she had. 🙂. Instead of Joey, i think this guy is going to be pure Joy!

I just don't understand how you could seperate those two. Obviously, the two horses were emotionally attached. Brothers? or from the same herd? but obviously comforting each other. I'd have taken both. Regardless, you're doing s fantadtic job of befriending him.

Animals will cling to each other in times of stress, even if they don’t know one another. It certainly doesn’t mean they are bonded, and it certainly is unlikely they are brothers. Few people have the luxury of being able to take both and it’s better to take the one and not burn yourself out mentally/financially by trying to take both. In any kind of rescue you can’t allow your “heart” to dictate because often times your well meaning heart is naive and needs some help from your brain.
