I'm also a nursing student and currently have a placement on the nephrology unit. It does consist mainly of passing meds and ADLs but you do get to see some cool nursing procedures once in a while. Also if you get a chance, you should talk to the dialysis or the PLEX nurses, they explain everything and its very interesting. Hope you enjoy your placement!

ah dang it, I wanted to be in a unit with all the action, but I rather go to a placement at a hospital nearby then driving 1.5 hours for the action haha
