Nigel Freer Maybe I’m just a Norm fan but their videos provide very nice entertainment and just have a smooth organic feel to them. They laugh , they make mistakes, they just have fun basically. This style of video has a layer of “ sell you this guitar” type of feel. Norms videos have the feel of “ we love this guitar and want to show it off and have fun playing it. I’m just crazy though

I still prefer the inuendos agnesi threw in and his delivery all around a better match (but that's just me) in regards to emerald City, it's a completely different delivery, it's like saying "which (ONE) musical influence you had?" To Stevie Ray Vaughn... (Not really a logical angle)

Dream strat. I always thought my dream start was a slab board fiesta red but when I saw some in person, that's it! I'm from 50s telecasters, maple boards so the veneer board is a good inbetween for me. Idc what anyone says. It makes a diffrence

I have had a slab board March 62 strat from 1965. Only an opinion but i think that the slab rosewood boards in terms of brightness are in the middle of the maple and veneered necks. My rhythm player had a pre CBS strat, 1964, and this was a far more mellow sounding guitar than mine. I wonder what everyone else thinks about the neck differences in terms of tone.

That strat and amp are gorgeous sounding together. But I’d really like to know if that Les Paul Special in the mint/sea foam green is still available…. 😅😊

I got a Dakota red with slab rose wood board and it's great an all but the veneer sounds more better maybe it's the response and resonance of the veneer that I like better on my tele but that's what I like better.

it should be pretty close to un faded under the pick guard and that should tell you exactly what red it is. the way the paint chipped of the back looks like water or a moisture issue at some point? was the neck super chunky? it sounds good tho! that amp was a good one to pair up with!

Not all strats sound like strats, this one does!

Why does the owner or the "future owner" of E.C.G. have a '62 Strat that he talks about and I'm sure many other great instruments but never bangs out a G Chord from time to time????????? He's not one of those guys I hope!!!!!!!!!

Great video indeed, but maybe it would have worked better with less talking and more playing. Congrats on the good work though.

Clapton,Beck,Hendrix,Gilmour,Malmsteen & Me love and loved the Strat.. ....maybe those greats are having so much fun with Strats,there's no time left to play LesPaul's.....oh well.

I love these videos but the idea that theres some objective tonal difference on a plugged in electric guitar with a slab vs. veneer board is just silly. And this is coming from someone who does believe that the wood in an electric guitar matters in terms of it's amplified sound.

Sounds very well but why don't you show the back of the neck you showed the back of guitar which shows alot of wear which is normal lovemarks. But show the back of the neck to see if it's been dropped or has Nick's on it if I'm going to pay top dollar for a guitar I don't want a neck that got dents or what ever it makes people wonder!
