I personally loved this video. Not only is it pros going head to head on a rework of an old map, but it shows that you can still make quality content even if you're not top-fragging. This game is all about teamwork and we've been so caught up with aces and kill montages that we've overlooked the game's key component. Keep up the great work, Macie!

They really are. Getting an ace gives you this unimaginable amount of relief and satisfaction, but if every R6 KZreadr is posting aces and ONLY aces or trick-shots and all that hooplah, then it can get stale and lose it's value pretty quickly

Why would anyone ever want a pick and ban system in a game like siege? It makes absolutely no sense to me. It's not League. There DEFINITELY aren't enough operators yet to have a system like this. Think about it. There are TWO breachers. I was excited for the new operation until I found out they were implementing this, and honestly, it just looks like Ubi did this so they have more freedom to reach their 100 op goal and not have to worry about balance. That's just my two cents.

I actually much prefer this kind of video, its unrealistic to keep expectations so high for yourself in this game thinking every youtuber destroys the opposition in every game so I should too. Its not like that, you win some and you lose some in this game and i applaud Macy for showing the game even though he couldn't get every headshot. (the build up tactics were still class and what i actually learn from)

Yeah you did great....it was just more realistic, more like watching your Twitch, I learn from the fails (as little as they are) more than the successes actually...its just good to see that even best players, even when the approach is perfect, still don't always have things go to plan.

Honestly Macie, I PREFER these types of matches. Don't get me wrong I will always love high frag matches or cheeky wallbangs and such but these competitive matches are much more enjoyable to watch tbh. Keep up the good work dude!

I just read your description Macie. The number of kills you get doesn’t matter. You seemed to be having fun and that’s what makes us happy. I find these matches interesting because I’d never be good enough to play with pros. You should be proud of your content! P.S.- you may have a hard time against pros sometimes, but it’s amazing practice!

Love this kind of gameplay, far more engaging and tense than just peeking quickly, running around, and killing everyone. This is what Siege is meant to be, teamwork, tactics, communication, and anxiety inducing tension. Please get some more of this out. Great game.

the l85 has stupid bullet deviation, every other shot goes too high or too low on top of the fact that it kicks which causes additional inaccuracy

I love coming back to videos like this and being filled with the nostalgia of when the game used to feel immersive. Back when the operator you chose brought you into a whole world unlike your own, where you could have fun in any game mode because not everyone was good. Although old siege had its flaws, I’d love to re-live the younger years of rainbow six siege

I actually enjoyed seeing Macie take on more of a supportive role rather than a straight fragging role in this. Showing how different ops can synergize in different situations is one of the reasons that Macie's my favorite Siege player, because I learn a lot of new gameplay strats.

Nice video Macie. Really interesting to hear the callouts and the teamwork. Pick and ban is a game changer too.

14:32 I swear, they've messed something up big time with the audio on recent map releases. There's the big and obvious stuff, like how it's impossible to tell if a noise is above or below you in some places on Tower and Villa, but there's also little things like this here where sounds that used to be quiet before under similar circumstances are suddenly just straight up silent.

Jesse H. They were talking about letting the teams see each others operators and letting 1 team have 1 operator switch each. Watch varsity gaming video and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I agree, and despite a lot of positive buzz surrounding the pick/ban system, I think Ubi realizes it's not yet ready for ranked or casual. That's why, I think, they're not implementing it into any matchmaking this season. Once it has had a trial run in custom games for a few months, then they can decide what ot do with it moving forward.

Jesse H. This is being implemented into pro league already. What they’re not sure is if the common players would like it or not. Besides no one is gonna ban both hard breaches because not only does it affect the enemy team, but it also affects you since you won’t be able to pick them either.
