My pile really just described myself, a possible crush, a different possible crush, and a past possible crush... My best friend/possible crush is currently dealing with an addiction, she has a thing for proving people wrong out of pure spite, and fits the hair description. in all honesty, i should not say "i know". because i don't. but it's my belief. we were together since the day we met and for nearly 20 years we grew a bond that no one could break. we fought as every couple does (finances, kids, etc.) but none of them were ever worth losing what we had together. we had become each other's best friend and as cliche as it may be, we could finish each other's sentences and knew what the other was thinking without speaking a word. we supported each other's goals and built the other up when either of us was feeling less than. we were happy. content. and felt like we were getting somewhere in our lives together and as individuals. we also hoped we were the example of what it means to be in a healthy, loving relationship for our children; that although we didn't always agree on every subject, our love would find a common ground to stand on. i could go on but i won't. suffice it to say, we were most definitely in love. whether or not anyone thinks that any of this means he was my soulmate or not, it doesn't matter. i have felt it in my bones and in my heart and i believe it.
