Pile 2 exactly! 😭 I breadcrumb but not to string anyone along. It’s bc they’re my family and if I can’t get away from them, the least I can do to protect myself is keep the peace by being nice enough so they don’t abuse me. If I cut them all the way off, they would also act like I’m evil so there’s no way to win. If I give them all my attention and energy, they’re abusive. If I am polite but keep my distance, they say I’m fake. If I cut them off, they’ll play the victim. I will keep avoiding until God lets me escape.
