I am old, early 70s and have gone through a horrible year of regrets, sadness, and revelations of coulda, woulda, shoulda. No matter how old you are, there is still plenty to learn about yourself. I realised this year just how much of my life I sacrificed for my work, and how I let rejection, and the fear of more rejection, poison my approach to relationships, in fact, give up on love altogether and now, when it is too late, I am full of regrets. This reading was en pointe. 2023 was excruciatingly painful in so many ways. The woman I thought would be my forever blindsided me by saying she was ‘done’. My intuition led me to find out she cheated on me emotionally/physically with our friend. Thereafter 26 weeks of being dragged to and fro between lawyers and solicitors.
