For me the situation is about moving, i moved out of my comfort zone, alone, left my abusive family situation behind and travelled to some countries and places where i thought i might do a living... Well, nope! 2. It truly amazes me how spot on you are all the time. I will be moving in 1 half month ao another city. I also just got a promotion and will moving on to work fully remote, so some major changes at my job, too. And there was a bit of competition before my promotion.

I chose pile 2 and it definitely resonates with me because I just started a new job and one person that’s been there for years kind of made me feel uncomfortable with their criticism of another person who also just started. The person did it like they were telling me a secret in front of the person they were criticizing. The fact is, I don’t think that was very fair or reasonable observation since we’re new and learning the ropes. It’s perfectly fine not to have everything down perfectly immediately. Some people catch on fast and some need a bit more time. Doesn’t make either better or worse than the other. I’ve known workers who took a bit more time but once they got it, they became some of the best workers. The key is to see they are trying to understand the tasks. The person that’s been there for years must of also had things they didn’t get right away too… and I feel like they may have forgotten that. It was very rude and unprofessional tho to gossip and criticize someone to another person. The only reason I seem like I’m catching on fast is because I’ve learned some of the tasks in school and I tend to figure things out on my own. Plus I don’t like to stir things up and will play the agreeable part. Took me too long to get this job and I don’t want to lose it but I do feel guilty for hearing the criticism of someone who’s trying their best like me.
