I'm really glad we were able to save this goofy crew and chill with them on the beach after all they've been through.

Is it possible to change the backdrop of the main menu? The one you get after beating Picayune for the first time gives me the creeps lol

I know I'm multiple months late, but what did you have your skill points invested in? I'm having a lot of trouble trying to go for this ending and I really don't know what to put them into :,) (sorry if I'm using the wrong terminology, I can't remember what the level up points are called)

ive played multiple runs before going for the true ending, you're essentially in a never ending hell till you do. However, now I'm worried about continuing runs and ruining their happy ending

whenever you loop you just fight the first 4 bosses never picayune herself again until you die so to be honest i don't see any point in looping besides the 3 mortality achievements

...I don't understand the difference, what do you do... differently?

I'll answer ur question here!! So what I think happened is when the aberration took over Picayune and the team, the body of Picayune was separated from here mind. Cyl is essentially Picayunes body. It's why Picayune says something about technically being the copy, since Cyl is the body. In the end it seems Picayune split and became two people, despite being near identical. Kinda like one part of Picayune was full of anger and rage at the government, while the body wanted to still live and keep going, and then save everyone.

Picayune was killed, but her mind was essentially ripped out and stolen by the chaotic reality-warping aberration, warping her life-energy into something else within its bizarre phenomenon (just as it did with the other crew). However because Picayune was wearing the suit and helmet when her mind was ripped out, the suit detected her body being dead and initiated the emergency recussitation / resurrection procedure. Because her mind was stolen by the reality-warping entity, the newly revived body was amnesiac, a true blank slate with most of its personality and such missing, the body essentially became its own unique person and adopted the name "Cyl" after the chaos-warped friends of Picayune referred to her by that (which was actually just part of the suits transponder ID). Cyl seems to be just the reanimated body of Picayune, developing as its own individual, with the 'actual' Picayune being a stolen mind existing as a warped entity created by the reality-shifting aberration (but who subsequently managed to absorb the aberration rather than visa-versa, becoming a kind of 'core' at the heart of the phenomenon).

How the hell does the friends survive if you make them explode? (I always play with their heads floating in the space) And how the hell Cyl gets a normal body back,she's a cyborg with all her limbs dismembered and organs reassembled.
