It feels like life is a music video when you listen to this band, it's amazing, each time you listen you make a new one
They were wonderful as a screamo band, but they managed to become a wonderful indie rock band, with that constant post-rock and Moving Mountains feeling. You have to accept the musical changes of a band, I highly doubt Kyle can scream as much pain anymore, according to the content of lyrics and how it was hard to endure for him. Yeah, I can understand nostalgia of their skramz days, I miss this too, but srsly, this song is one of their best ever...

I saw them when they were touring for Old Pride and it was fucking immaculate. Love how they progressed over the years. It was logical with every release how they sound now. Old Pride is still my favorite album of theirs, but I love every album
One of my favorite memories is waking up early in fall, listening to keep you and cleaning the house. I’m older now with a kid, but I miss those days.

I miss those days too. What nostalgic feelings from a record that's not even that old.
Known these guys for a decade now and every rendition of the band has been great. Props to them for being able to expand their sound in so many directions, and still put together a live set that appeases everyone.
love when drummers are this creative.
The climax of this song is absolutelly amazing. Both ways, music & visual. Can't wait for the whole record! Keep You was awesome, but I think that this one will be even better.

the climax felt weak to me, needs more Viagra i guess
Watching the Charisma video and then this one after is so good!! It's like watching a movie; everything just plays out so beautifully! And those actresses
loving these new songs, cant wait to hear them in context with the rest of the album. Keep You is one of those albums where its best played in its entirety, got a feeling this will be the same.
probably the most beautifull album this year
i've never heard of this band it just came up in my recommended...I haven't felt this way from a song for a long time..
Love this album so far, it definitely maintains the feels from Keep You and it just sounds perfect. I tried listening to their older stuff but just wasn't my cup of tea. I like this direction they took, hopefully they keep it this way.
Stop crying by saying "I miss the screams". This is incredible.

I'm making a big assumption here in saying you're intelligent enough to know that "we miss the screams" does not equate to "this band sucks because they're not screaming". It's not crying. It's calling back to a defining aspect of the bands talent that we identified and connected with many years ago whilst appreciating where they are now. If someone says they suck now because Kyle doesn't scream, well... those people are lost.

Of course I have that in mind when I make this comment. But the reading of different comments on KZread, Facebook, blogs, etc give the pattern that the "weird the screams" is more a sneaky way of saying that PBTT is a poser band, similar to BMTH or things like that. Of course it is very good to define the taste for an artist for a particular aspect. From my point of view, accentuating the "screamo" side of PBTT's work in 2018 is at least regressive. The works of art are the result of a historical accumulation, of a search that gives results that are recorded on discs (in this case). PBTT is in another stage now. Of course I could not be there without records like The lack long after, but from my point of view it is better to appreciate what they are and where they are now than to continue making a call to a preterite era that the band evidently closed (at least now)

One of the best songs produced in history
Got.Dam. Chills down the spine. Can't wait for the whole record
Sick drumming as usual in a Pianos song. Keep it up!!!
Man, this is soooooo good. Their musicianship just continues to grow. Wonderful video too.
This album is going to punch me in the gut, and I’m going to ask it to hit me again
They are great. This is greater.
This is really great. I cant wait for the new album
So excited for this album.
Stoked for the album
F***n good drummer. Very good changes in vocals. Greetings from Poland
Beautiful, moving music. Very well done you guys.

This band has been relevant since day 1
Lyrics: correct me where I'm wrong Faced with such stern symmetry Weathered skin turned burgundy The most handsome man you ever saw ?that smirk like sour razor jaw? Hold your rose and see the fingers are starting to bend We can move, we can't miss out, no Before we're gone, you've meant the most I said it all now Faced with such soft tendency Saved a man withdrawn like me Love you more and I'm on my way home Forgot everything I'll ever know Hold your rose in bitter red buried in lake-effect We can move, we can't miss out, no Before we're gone, you meant the most I said it all now As pure as they come And I was after the same light you drew It's been too much And I could never say aloud, "that's enough" Mercy now Mercy now, blood

Pretty close. Here's a few changes of what I think it sounds like, although I could most definitely be wrong. Weathered skin turned burned* and pink That spur like sour razor jaw* Hold your rose* and see the fingers are starting to bend Hold your rose* in bitter red buried him like a ? & At the end of the song I believe he's saying "Mercy now".

Here before the 50k!!! Saw these guys years ago at their first show in LA. They were amazing human beings!
When you could just remember "16th" and got overly excited today.... 1 month lets go.
top!
PART 3 PLEASE
Fucking can't wait for this album
How did I know the video was going to start with the Skelton Babes?
I have enjoyed the musical growth from the studio. But their live shows are still SOOOOOOOOOOOOO INTENSE.

While I do respect your opinion, I can’t agree with you. I feel like their current genre/music that they are tapping into is simply coming from a much different place then the music they wrote from Saltwater to The Lack Long After. The raw emotion and talent present in their early works was what I originally fell in love with, but their refined sound and matured lyrical content is what is keeping me around. To put it simply, I don’t think it does their music any justice to say one period is drastically better than the other when the quality has remained consistent throughout their career. Of course, this is simply my opinion so feel free to disagree.
