How did you practice to get your syncopation on point?

1) Use the metronome and set it to a super slow speed (40 - 60 beats per minute) 2) Go over the syncopated part really slowly by tapping the rhythm out with each hand 3) Go over the syncopated part really slowly by playing the pattern 4) Gradually speed up the section until you can play it at speed The number one enemy of syncopation (or rather, why syncopation is tricky) is because most people try to do it at speed. You have to understand, I've spent many years working on tricky bits of syncopation so it's second nature to me. If you follow these steps, it will become easier and easier. Let me know if you need anymore tips :) Let me know how it goes!
