I also work as a piano tuner and technician in Germany. This is the best and most modern way of repairing I‘ve ever seen. Some people don’t check the shanks for rising vertically before glueing the heads. Then they correct this afterwards and use heat for bending resp. twisting the shanks. It’s awful.

Excellent tools! May I ask why you shape the hammer tails only after you glued the hammer heads to their shanks? Or have I misunderstood something?
