THIS IS AMAZINGG

6:16 my dream play that part🤩
Beautiful playing, how long does it take to master this?

Thank you!Actually, I don't think I've already mastered this piece. Of course I did my best when I recorded this performance, but I think "good performance" doesn't mean just striking a note as written on the score. We can make it more sophisticated by experiencing a lot of different things. As Leonardo da Vinci says, "Art is never finished, only abandoned."

Wow that performance really flashed by, you are very very good, thank you very much for uploading. Are you possibly interested in doing tchaikovsky concerto no 1 in the future? haven't found a piano solo that is as good.

Hi! I'm delighted you liked it. I'd be happy if you subscribe to my channel and thumbs up. People often say they can't find good piano solo of concerto at youtube. Are you looking for Tchaikovsky for your practice?

@@michellelee8933 I also love Tchaikovsky piano concerto no 1. This music reminds me of the high school years, it was (or is still) used as a school bell😅 It's memorable, so I would like to practice it someday😍
Hello 12:51-13:20 I've been learning these bars for 2 weeks and there's very little progress, how long did it take you?
I love piano but do not want to be my main profession. Did you major in psychology and minor in piano performance? What was that path like?
I wonder if there's an orchestral recording of this without the piano so you can play along 🤔 That would be interesting. Anyways, you play really good! 👏👏 Way better than Martha Argerich on here. She plays this awfully; I had to stop watching her. You play as good as Olga Scheps and Evgeny Kissin on this piece.

It's such an honor to be told that. I wonder if there is an orchestral recording as you said. I went to Evgeny Kissin's concert last fall. His music was fresh and stimulating. He is a wonderful pianist though everyone knows, and I respect him.
This is already very helpful but it might be even better if: 1. There is close up look on hand movement, maybe from top, or maybe just another camera from left side, 2. The video sample rate is higher, so we can still catch the hand movement when played at 50% speed or even less.

Thank you for kindly explaining it to me ❤︎ There is not enough space for setting another camera at the left side (wall) of the piano in this studio…Furthermore, we only have one camera ( ·᷄ ︵·᷅ ) As to the sample rate, please allow us some time to give it some thought.

LMAO, so your shtick is to record yourself playing the piano with a lab coat? Haha, love it!

Among versions played by "normal people" (people who haven't gone to Chopin competition or similar), so far I like this version best, it has a good blend and contrast of poeticness and passion, layering/progress of emotion is natural, simple yet convincing. I have a question Doctor, from your intro I saw you have a paper "なぜ私たちが悲しい音楽を聞くのか", is there a place I can read your paper (Japanese version OK)? I have always enjoyed listening to sad music but I found that's not the case for everyone, I want to know your research about this topic to see if I am sick or not.
