I’ll rather pay someone to play for me than learn it.

I mean the silk sonic album is cool and all. Mix is fantastic, drums sound awesome, Bruno and Anderson Paak’s vocals are great, composition is slick and clever. Yet there’s something missing, especially with this song. I guess it’s maybe a lack of real emotion? It all feels so light and cheery, and while there’s nothing inherently wrong with that, it just feels plastic and fake. Just an album for the charts I guess. But hey, that’s just my opinion. Art is subjective.

@@michellemonet4358 yeah it has its charm. In a way it’s vulnerable. The thing is, I (generally) like music that’s pretty melancholic or sad. So I shouldn’t be too harsh on this album.
