These Five easy piano pieces were written for the beginner pianist. Asking my students to
compose binary forms as part of their education made me realize that writing easy music is a
…not such an easy task. So, I put myself into the challenge and created the 'Five Pieces Animale' as a
demonstration of how fun composition (could be) is and to inspire the new age of composers.
The language strictly tonal: The Monkey, The Giraffe, The Lion, The Camel and The Elephant
are easy to the ear (for younger audiences) and so fun to perform. Very characteristic in the
writing full of surprises and memorable melodies by yours truly.
