    wij hebben 2 piaggio 1+ gekocht als woon werk vervoer. Zeer tevreden van de scooter. Bouwkwaliteit is super en voelt echt heel goed aan ookal word de weg even ruuw of onverhard. Enkel zijn de schokdempers voor + achter echt veel te slap. In de stad op een drempel knal je telkens tot de aanslag en met de middenstaander tot tegen de grond. Ben geduldig op een bitubo kit aan het wachten en dan zal de scooter echt perfect rijden. Velen die op onze werkplaats aan een elektrische fiets leasecontract hangen hebben er spijt van toen ze deze zagen zeker voor de prijs. Zeer goede aankoop. 2 tevreden eigenaars hier. Voorlopige zijn de wachttijden al 4 maanden als je een moet bestellen. Heb er al te koop zien staan die over de prijs van de winkel worden verkocht. Zodra meer mensen die elektrisch kort woon werk verkeer willen doen met deze brandstofprijzen hem ontdekken, zullen ze overal onmiddelijk op zijn en gaan er heel lang wachttijden komen. Be quick !

    Wij zijn ook erg tevreden. Wij hadden geluk met de wachttijd omdat de scooterwinkel waar we deze hebben gekocht precies de kleur die we wilden in bestelling had staan. Ik ben benieuwd naar je ervaring met het aanpassen van de vering, ik kom hier geen drempels tegen op onze routes. Hier in de omgeving liggen vooral van die verhoogde schijven op de weg, en daar stuur je gewoon omheen.

    @@marcelvanbodegom Dat was bij ons ook het geval. We hadden het wel gevraagd of bestellen mogelijk was maar onmiddellijk 4 maand en de wit/blauw combinatie was levertijd van onbekend. Opzich is het geen klacht dat ik ze wil aanpassen want als je geen vluchtheuveltjes of stoepranden op en af moet is het absoluut prima van de fabriek. Nu nog testen of er 1 in de stationwagon past en dan zou het perfect zijn. Zodra ik de schokbrekers wissel zal ik hier op reageren. Het stuur kon ik meteen wisselen voor een universeel sport stuurtje wat mij net wat lekkerder zit en de achter schokbrekers heb ik verlengd doormiddel van universele verhoogblokjes wat het klappen van de middenstaander tegen de grond heeft verholpen. Zit ook net wat rechter met men 1m92 😁

    Thank you for the wonderful review. Greetings from Athens Greece. Can i ask what is the range wich you have seen at eco and at sport mode? And how much time takes to charge until 100% in real life?

    I didn't do an actual range test. But on my last ride at sport mode distance traveled was about 32 km (I checked it afterwards with a route planner). The limiter of the controller set in at 33% battery level, which was roughly after 27 km (again checked with route planner). With the limiter top speed is reduced to 39 km/h. After 32 km battery level was at 20%. I didn't do a charge test either. But I started charging at 17 hours and the battery was charged when I went to lock the gate at 23 hours. The charger was still a bit warm, so I presume it was just finished charging. So I would say it charges 80% in 6 hours. Like I said I didn't actually test the range and charging speed, but this might give you some idea.

    Mooi en duidelijk filmpje! Bedankt! Ik heb een Forever Black 45 km in bestelling staan. Als het meezit komt hij voor het eind van de maand. Ik zoek de prijs van een reserve batterij maar zie die nergens staan online. Heeft iemand een idee wat die zou kosten? En zou de extra zware batterij van dat performance model passen?

    Ik heb de kleine batterij, onder de batterij zit een plastic vulstuk, als je dat er uit haalt past de grote batterij. De modellen die standaard de grote batterij hebben, hebben ook een sterkere lader. Ik heb ook nog nergens reserve batterijen gezien. Waar ik wel op heb gelet bij aanschaf is of de batterij is te openen en daardoor te reviseren, naar mijn mening kan dat. Dan kan je de individuele cellen laten vervangen.

    Thank you for the review, it was very professionally conducted! Dont you have the Piaggio one+ with the longer range there in the Netherlands? We have it in Sweden. I consider the extended range scooter which has 68km in sportmode (maybe like 60km in reality?) which is acceptible. One thing worries me, it is the ability to go up-hill, considering the small 1.2 kwh motor, otherwise it seems like a great scooter for the city :)

    Thanks. I did consider the plus. But we don't use it for long distances, so it wouldn't be beneficial for us. Today we rode 20 km going to the beach, to a fair, and back and it says it's on 50% range. I wouldn't buy this scooter for areas with lots of hills or mountains, it is not powerful enough. Where I live it is absolutely flat, with the occasional small incline. Probably the Active version is suited for hills because that has a more powerful motor, and it comes with the bigger battery as standard.

    @@BoTour I understand! For short distances it can make some sense. I am thinking never go below 20% and above 80% in daily use. I tend to commute T/R 24-29km so in that sense the long-range makes more sense i think. Here there are some smaller inclines, very few insane, but some that are a few degrees. I own the vespa primavera 50 iget, and it can manage, maybe it loses 1km/h. By the way, what is the speed you reach on the flat and how does it change with the decreasing of the batteries? and downhill? thank you for your comment!

    @@addeade231 Topspeed is 46 km/h on the dash, sometimes 47 km/h. I haven’t checked it with a gps unit. I will have to go to a long hill to test the up and downhill speed. There is a big dam about 10 kilometres away which would be perfect for such a test. Good topic for another video. I haven’t noticed any difference in topspeed when the battery is at 50 or 40%, it’s never been lower than 38%.

    That is pretty much as my stock vespa iget 50. It seems quiet accurate. Some guy named "joey schaar" made some test inside a lab and the spedometre was pretty much spot-on. Yes, this would be a good topic for another video. I subscribed to your channel and I look forward to further content :) It is really interesting with this new electric technology.

    I don't know how to reset the maintenance Icon. The first 1000km service on our Piaggio was free, so I had it reset by the Piaggio dealer. Going to the dealer was quite a nuisance, so I won't do that again.

    Had the One Active a year now. The keyless ignition is a ridiculous idea when it requires power to work (which you don't have when charging). I permanently have the spare key on the same keychain as the electric keyfob. Pure madness, I have no idea how this got signed this off 😂 Another small gripe is that the charger doesn't stop when the battery is full, and is noisy. Got around this with a smart-plug. Otherwise fine. Another 10-15kph top speed would make it a whole lot more usable but that depends on the user's needs.

    I agree, they have made some strange decisions. We leave the seat up while charging. We got two keyfobs, one has the spare key in the back (2:35 in the video), and the other does not. So we use the one with the key and keep the other as a spare. Our charger stops when the battery is full, the LED changes from red to green, and our charger hasn't got a fan so it doesn't make any noise.

    @@BoTour Interesting RE charger without a fan. Perhaps related to different version of the scooter, or different charger based on build date perhaps. I also have red/green light but fan will run continuously. Seat-up is the option I started with, but prefer not to make a thieve's life any easier. I sound really negative but it's a great way of efficiently getting around at low speed 🙂

    It ain't fast. You can ride with a passenger but it is tiny, with little room on the seat.

    @@user-hn8ft That depends on your length. With long legs you tend to sit further back, then there isn't much room for a passenger. I'm 172 cm and have ridden with my 16-year-old daughter as a passenger. The size of the Piaggio 1 is about the same as the Piaggio Zip.

    Heb je tijdens bezit van deze scooter een lichte rammel aan de voorkant gehad? De veer raakt namelijk t plastic omhulsel van de schokdemper, vraag me af of t normaal is

    @@BoTour heb deze scooter splinter nieuw gekocht, dealer vind t meevallen, ben echt al 3 dagen aan t zoeken naar t geluid.. wordt er gek van, kom van een niu af die wel stil was, hoeveel km heb je afgelegt? En is t minder geworden of juist meer

    Ik heb hem nu een jaar (het + model) en ik ben het er mee eens dat het een goed gebouwde scooter is (ookal is het een Chinees met een Italiaans logo erop)... maar ik vind hem echt gevaarlijk langzaam in het stadsverkeer. De motor is helaas toch wat te zwak zeker als de batterij al een beetje op is. Ik rij soms expres om, om maar niet over een autoweg te moeten en waar ik op een (brom)fietspad kan rijden. Erg jammer, want het is een heerlijke scooter om in de omgeving nabij wat rond te toeren over de landweggetjes. Daar gebruik ik juist wel die eco mode, lekker relaxt rijden en de batterij die dan niet zienderogen naar beneden keldert :). Overigens lijken de 2023 modellen van de Piaggio 1 het euvel met de zwakke motor te hebben opgelost, maar daar heb ik nu niets aan.

    Wij ontwijken ook sommige wegen, of rijden naast sommige wegen illegaal op het fietspad. Liever een bekeuring dan een ongeluk. De nieuwe modellen hebben inderdaad wat meer vermogen.

    Presently piaggio doesn't sell any scooter in india -ICE or electric. Lets wait & see if they bring this EV here.

    I have had the Active 1+ for nine months and it has proved to be a disappointment. The suspension is absolutely horrible. It is painfully slow and gets slower as the battery runs down. It struggles to climb even small hills and has very little storage under the seat.My local Piaggio dealer refuses to service it. I will be trading it in.

    You sold youre 11 years old chinese scooter because Battery was dead , If You cannot use anymore how is the person will use it

    I sold it as a non-runner. The person who bought it was informed that the battery was dead. He bought new batteries and his son installed them for him. Those were four old-fashioned 12V led batteries. A relatively easy job, slightly more work than changing the 12V battery of a car.

    @@BoTour Thankyou for Youre reply ,, Im thinking to buy piaggio one Active , I also looked Horwin and NIU , ( which range and speed is more with 2 bettries ) but I liked more Piaggio one , just Im not sure the range will be 70 km and speed 70 km/per hr ,,

    @@elifelif777 Yes that's always a thing with electric vehicles. The manufacturers never tell you the real range and real top speed. According to the manufacturer's manual I have, the fastest model of the Piaggio does 60 km/h and a range of 50 km in sport mode (you don't want to drive in eco mode). My guess for the fastest model Piaggio is top speed 55 km/h max, and a usable range before it starts to limit the power, about 38 km. But that's just a guess.
