Believe it or not, PIA used to be 1 of the top airlines in the world in the early 1970's. But it now gone downhill to hell!

It was the best airlines in Asia in the 60s and is still a great airline, even if not as good as Emirates.

Its people choice which airline they choose im not being rude but I also love pia because its the airline of our country but I think we should not blame Pakistanis for not choosing pia and I don't think or saw anybody treating pakistan second class and if we are so what I am grateful

Having traveled on so many top notch airlines, I can’t help but give PIA a special place in my heart. I flew from Islamabad International Airport in 2008, August to Bang Kok, Thailand and boy, it was a beautiful journey. I was together with my cousins and it was so much! When the flight was nearing Hong Kong, the flight attendants started passing out these huge white boxes. My cousins and I even had a bet about what the boxes contained 😂 I thought they had cakes or some sweets inside but once we opened them, we were extremely surprised to see a big banana, a cupcake and something else I forgot. That was the first and last time I ever traveled with PIA. So many great memories and so many great people. Their motto is so accurate, “great people to fly with”. 👏🏻 too much political intervention has ruined this airline, hope they make a come back soon 💪🏼

I flew PIA NY to Lahore in 1999 and the airline was amazing back then. One of the most innovative of its time. Watching this video made me sad to see the IFE was not working. Id be furious! And such an outdates/small screen lol. Dinner looked decent but the breakfast looked very skimp. Other than that, it looks like you had a smooth flight.

Back in 2011, me , my family (except my mum and my younger sister) my uncles and my favourite cousin took a direct flight from Hong Kong to Pakistan. I really enjoyed it and I got to watch raph breaks the wall animation movie on a big TV, sadly there was no screen in the front seat but at least I enjoyed the movie, I was around 9 back then. That was my first and last flight of PIA. This July 25th 2019 I went to Pakistan with my two younger sisters and we took Emirates, it's sad I couldn't take my country's flight carrier. Insh Allah the next time I go to Pakistan, I hope I can take PIA. As I've heard throughout social media's that Imran Khan is helping PIA to progress in service

There was no IFE in the flight I took in 2011, but there was big TVs attached to the wall in every rows.

PIA's pilots are actually good at Landing i travelled with PIA in 2016 i was 9 years old at that time the landing was very good from my perspective the landing was excellent I asked my mother have we landed? because I wasn't in the window seat and my mother yes we have landed i said "i didn't feel a thing" my mother said:"yes i am impressed with the landing i thought the landing will be hard" I just hope P.I.A becomes a good Airline

My grandfather was in PIA then afterwards he joined Bangladesh Airlines as GM Audit.😘🤔😍

I very very like travel with pia When I go Pakistan. Feel happy Other.s airlines services good than pia. But I feel happy with pia.

Thank you for flying with PIA and to Pakistan. I really hope they improve their airline. They really have the potential but they have to end the corruption and focus on making it better

Is there any social media group of Pakistan airline pilots? I am trying to locate one pilot who helped me on islamabad airport 7 years ago. I have his signature on a boarding pass when he gave me a jump seat :)

Nice video! I flew on AP-BGL back in 2013, I even made a trip report on my channel about it for Islamabad to Karachi. While the IFE was disabled because its a domestic flight, I was told by the crew that many of them do not work. Its sad to see that they still have not been fixed after all this time.

PIA need to improve .Service has gone downhill. IFE is not working again ,to be honest I don't think it's ever worked. I rather pay extra and go with Qatar or Emirates... For a national carrier they should be ashamed of themselves.

pay extra, Qatar and Emirates are cheaper then PIA, from London to Lahore, for 4 seats, i am spending 3200 pounds which is 548744 Rupees. Only good thing about PIA is flight time under 8 hrs from London to Lahore, When my kids will grow up, We would never be using PIA.

ziz Aslam to be honest I travelled by PIA (dxb to isb) a few days ago and it was a very good flight. No delays, friendly flight attendants and a smooth landing. The service really has improved over the years. But, I agree that I will never travel long haul with PIA. Then I would pay extra to travel by some other airline.

I like watching PIA flights..... People, language, food and culture everything is very similar , can't really find any difference except PIA does not have bigger flights for overseas routes.....

Landing in the old airport!

The airline has suffered due to corrupt management else it was one of the best airlines in the world from 50s till 90s.. from 2019 onwards PIA's new management is keen to improve its service and repute. Let all support them in this regard and wish them luck.

@@thegoaheadmpire7825 in short he was saying that on a PIA plane there is a remote on the right hand side which you can use to actually use the IFE, by changing it to channel 16

PIA was tha launch customer of 777-200 LR.

This seems an old video since it landed on old Islamabad airport.

The 777 fleet have undergone seat fabric changes. However, one of my relatives recently flew from ISB to YYZ on their 777-200LR which is slightly newer than the 777-200ER, and told me that those planes also did not have functioning IFEs.

Pay a couple hundred pounds extra and fly with Emirates/Qatar/Turkish airlines, they have amazing IFE systems and great on-board service. Not worth wasting £600-800 on a PIA ticket to Pakistan.

Nice Video. Although IFE is low quality at present until the new system is installed in the next few months but the reliability of getting from A to B matters a lot. PIA has a good safety record Mashallah.

safety record of PIA is poor given they have only a tiny fleet of 32 planes.

Why didn't they had any crew welcoming

The IFE is never working.PIA needs to resolve this as IFE a big selling point. IFE can make everyone from adults and kids occupied and effectively make that long journey feel like it is not so long.PIA sort yourself out even if you just put on your own drama,news, music on.
