Piłsudski Mound

The Józef Piłsudski Mound is the highest of the five existing mounds in Krakow and the largest mound in Poland.
Located in the Wolski Forest, close to the Krakow Zoo.
The mound was started to be built in 1934 and it was built for three years. height: approx. 35 m (394 m above sea level) base diameter: 111 m.
The entrance to the mound is free and you can admire the panorama of Krakow and the planes landing at the Krakow airport.
When the visibility is good, you can see the Tatra Mountains.
From the Daisy Hotel you can walk within 50 minutes, passing the Krakow Zoo on the way. It can be reached in 20 minutes by bike.
By car, you need to park at the zoo and walk further in 15 minutes.
