This is simply perfect. Full explanation of the healing process in a way almost anyone can make sense of. I cut my ankle the other day, including severing a very small surface blood vessel, and this explains everything. And I'm watching it for free on my phone. What an age we live in, and what a nice guy Dr Campbell is to put the time and effort in to provide this for us!

This also makes me realise that no computer program or AI system will ever replace a great communicator like yourself. Thanks again.

Ok. Some people are just gifted. He made that lecture feel like every wound that is out there depended on it. I am here because my lovely sister has been chosen by a large leg wound. I am glad to learn that a wound that looks so bad is because so much is going as it takes time to heal. The same skin that has been used to cause so much racism is the same skin that hides the mess underneath it which without , no man is presentable to an eye that helps the mind in presenting and judging one another. A broke skin exposes decay so we ought to celebrate rather than make it a human enemy.Thank you Dr C for knowledge. Thanks KZread. Thank you lovely people.

I thank you for your time to explain something most people do not understand... I have been dealing with ulcers that have had gangrene and nearly cost me my leg about 25yrs ago... now again I am dealing with making sure my scars do not open backup, often busting open about twice a year.. I have never had anyone explain things as well as you have... another scar that I have had has busted open and ended up with showing gangrenous necrosis... I've been diagnosed with Pryoderma Gangrenosum... among other health issues and all I get from physicians is all that can be done is treat the issues as they happen...

This is a great lecture for helping me understand my foot ulcer. Unfortunately, mine is a diabetic foot ulcer that was caused by a simple blister on a charcot foot. I am watching this very slow healing over a period of months. I go to an Infectious Disease Center three times a week for antibiotic infusions and wound care. So tired of it. It will be for at least six months. The good news is the ulcer has not gone close to the bone so less chance of bone infection and foot amputation. Diabetes is a MONSTER.
