Physics as a Street Art | Tatiana Erukhimova | TEDxTAMU
Tatiana Erukhimova explores the wonders of the scientific community and encourages everyone to participate in science fairs across the world. To her, science should be enjoyed by everyone whether or not they are a part of the scientific community.
Tatiana Erukhimova received a Ph.D. in Physics from the Russian Academy of Sciences in 1999 and joined TAMU in 2001. She has coordinated and organized ten successful Physics & Engineering Festivals attended by thousands of visitors from all over Texas and other states. She developed the Physics Show: an interactive presentation involving entertaining physics demonstrations and hands-on exhibits. Since 2007, she has done over 200 shows attended by 16,000 people of all ages, from elementary school children to adults. Currently, Dr. Erukhimova teaches freshman physics classes at TAMU. She has received multiple awards for teaching and public outreach including the University-Level and College-Level Distinguished Achievement Awards in Teaching from the Association of Former Students. Dr. Erukhimova shares her experience and passion for physics education and outreach through invited presentations at Texas A&M and international conferences.

Science needs such charismatic & enthusiastic people. Thanks Prof. Tatiana !
I used to have a physics teacher like her. She was an astronomer and always made physics, astronomy, and even quantum physics fun and understandable.

I had a chemistry teacher with equal charisma and it's left me with a lifelong love for scientific curiosity. A lot of educational professionals could learn from people like this.
Wish I had a teacher like she

I’ll bet she’d a fun date. I imagine her explaining the process of the mashed potatoes cooling, or the role lemons play in the taste of iced tea. No joke, I’d be cracking up the entire night. I wish I’d had her in college 😊
This is exactly how I want to explain science communication. She is such an inspiration, her presentation gave me goosebumps!
Very inspiring! Makes me want to be her science student. Anyone would be lucky to be in her class but more then students I think there are teachers who need her as well. Teachers who don’t know or care how to teach. That is the biggest reason why we have kids uninterested not just about science but about education. Sadly there are a lot of teachers just collecting a paycheck and not teaching, those few who truly love what they are doing, who inspire future generations are sadly few and far in between. Bravo Professor Tatiana
Dr Erukhimova is a great bringer of light to the world. People like her come along maybe once in a generation.
Something about this lady I loved in 10 seconds of watching and listening to her.

Now I have on my list to visit Texas and this festival and meet this teacher 😀
I have so much respect and awe for you and your work, Professor Tatiana. 🤩
Amazing! DEEPly inspiring Pysics teacher! 🙏🏻
This audience is a LOT more sedate than her usual audiences! I’ve really enjoyed the others that I’ve seen here on KZread…
It's incredible performance, Tatiana! Thank you!
Respect for science and the scientific method is sadly low along with the rise of magical thinking, conspiracy theories, religious mythology, and lack of ability for critics thinking. Thank you Professor Tatiana for celebrating science with us!

Ok edgelord. Religious and faith is just as important and not to blame for the lack of respect in science. How about politicians ignoring science (forcing masks and vaccines). They made science something to not be trusted.
She is amazing! I wish i could had a teacher like that when i was young 😢
This woman is incredible, and she could educate anyone!
