You know the first weapon a human used against another was probably a big rock and it is weirdly poetic that we came back full circle to an even bigger rock. RIP Eve.

By far my favorite moment was when he said that he didn't want to destroy kerbin, and then started a nuclear apocalypse
How many professors can say they've had a student so annoying that they had to destroy a whole solar system
Considering the style/genre of content you reacted to here, I'd recommend reacting to - Martins "EXPANDING to Space in Factorio" (which unfortunately is a "to be continued" situation with confirmation on his stream a while ago that no continuation of that savefile will be possible), - maybe even the Factorio Space Exploration videos by "DoshDoshington", he isn't as high-action as other KZreadrs but the amount of time and effort invested into his videos is impressive nonetheless.

I mean Mick Gordon did use a 9 string guitar to play BFG Division, which is just what happens when a guitar and a bass have a really jacked baby

Technically yes the Chinese invented gun powder but it was actually another guy who made dynamite giving way to the term explosives
Was half expecting Hell March 2 to start playing when the all out war started, would've been awesome
If you’ve enjoyed Martin’s Kerbal videos, I highly recommend his My Summer Car videos. They’re absolutely hilarious! The first one teaches a bit about how engines and cars work and the second one feels like a chaotic story of a man sacrificing literally everything to win a rally in the middle of nowhere.
I just wonder, what does the guy who modeled for that stock photo feel? He just showed up for a shoot for fun while in college or something, and now he's the main antagonist in this KSP series I so wish we could get like an interview or at least a statement from him just to see what he thinks lol
thank you teacher now i know how i can find an object using a doppler effect with a simple equation you surely deserve to call yourself a physicist

love how you put the music in the pauses, really keeps the flow of the video going.

Since you seem to delve more and more into KSP, I have a channel to recommend you : Stratzenblitz75. Long story short : this guy puts most KSP players to absolute shame, both in inventivity and skill. His montages are also great. If I could recommend one to pick first, it would be "Deep Sea Rocketry" (and you're not ready for it).

You should you react to videos by the channel FUNKe, I'd recommend you start with "The State of Movement FPS" series.
I've only found your channel recently and I already love it, the name speaks for itself: you're so *chill* and smart!
great video, I liked how you took the time to explain some of the concepts and the talk about red/blue shift was good and the electronics hang symbol thing was funny. I'm also glad that you waited until the video explained it to elaborate as that somewhat bothered me in previous videos, it's great that you're able to get just get into what's shown and not trying to analyse it constantly making it a joy to watch. A request I guess I have but no idea how much appeal it'd have here; Gunbuster science lessons. An anime from the 80s made up their own physics and dealt with a lot of concepts that... was while not correct just incited me to learn more about the universe, the anime itself is only six episodes but alongside those six episodes they released six 2-3 minute in-universe 'science lessons' with the reasoning the main characters are attending a school. They're on youtube if you search it but Japanese dubbed... but just hearing your thoughts about what's presented there would be cool. Great video and cannot wait to see more.
I think you would like his Civilization V video. It’s one of his older ones, but it’s chalk full of history jokes and is one of my favourites that he’s done. Love this one by the way. Thank you for your insightful and educational commentary. ❤
You think the Manhattan project had a big budget? The program that developed the B-29 Superfortress Heavy Bomber had an even bigger budget. Kinda crazy when you think about it... The plane that dropped the bomb had a bigger budget than the bomb.
Chill zones a DAD now CONGRATS !!!🍾🎈🎊🎉
fun fact: Mic Gordon didn't use any guitars in the making of the Doom soundtrack. What you are hearing is actually remixed lawnmower noises.
What i would love is to have a playlist of all the songs used in this series. it probably has the most on-point soundtrack i've heard in a long time.
21:33 fun fact! Did you know that in America, full sized flamethrowers, like the one this National Hero is using are perfectly legal to own, and infact use, without a license! They are not even considered weapons/firearms, but rather farm equipment!
@jackbishop8610

Cuz in a nation of firearm owners it's a farm tool. In combat, it's less a weapon and more of a liability. And you have no idea how much it pains me to say that as a fire enthusiast.

Some information on bullet velocities because the statement that 908m/s is reaching the uper velocity of what is posible is plain wrong. A modern tank round achieves over 1600 m/s. Reaching 1800 to 2200 m/s is what is currently the limit for practical weapons though faster speeds have been achieved. Experimental gas powered guns are in the ball park of 2800 m/s. Specialized guns called cold gas guns used in research reach 6000 - 7000 m/s
Yeee boi, more chill reacts

Planetary Annihilation has some really cool ideas that I hope we see in more RTS games, like seriously having battles span a whole solar system is really unique for the genre at this point in time.

KSP-2 is not an INDI game. KSP (1) used to be back in the day. The rights to all the properties of KSP have been bough by Take-Two a long time ago. KSP-2 was origininally developed by an small indipentend studio (Star Theory Games) which had been given a contract by Take Two. While KSP-2 was in developent Take-Two went back on the contract and proceded to Poach (or try to) the revelevant developers from Star Theory Games. These news broke over social media, including for the employees in question. Star Theory Games didnt survive this incidend and went out of buisness 3 months later. Calling KSP-2 an INDI and implying a sort of grass roots origin of the project is absurt.
Actually KSP 2 was announced back in 2019, it got delayed 3 years and got a release date some time ago.
KSP2 wasn't announced recently; it was announced over a year ago. The early access version, was announced recently

"Indie developers truly are the saving grace of gaming right now." I agree with that, but... Kerbal Space Program was bought years ago by Take-Two, the owners of GTA and the eighth largest game company in the world, and is being developed by an internal studio. I'll love KSP forever and I'm cautiously interested in KSP2, but it is no longer a scrappy small franchise. KSP2 will deserve all the scrutiny due an AAA game, especially since "early access" is starting at 50 USD. (The original KSP, the original devs started by charging 7 in early access.)

@@zeallust8542 True. However he said "right now"; KSP started sales to the public nearly _ten years ago_ so I presumed he's talking about the upcoming KSP2, given the context. And it's too easy for people's minds to transpose the indie nature of the first onto the upcoming second game, so I just want to remind people that it's being made by a gigantic publisher that bought the franchise as an investment, not a passion project.
