I thought they brought her on as a comedian. Fail. She was/is a neurotic communist who is crazy. She is a hypocrit for being against guns then having her gun carrying body guard go on school grounds. To get her way, she voted under different names in a federal election and never brought to justice. Finally, a horrible mom which you can see some of those parts in her many raves. Lookout anyone who disagrees w her. So glad she is gone!

YOUR FULL.OF SHIT ROSIE O'DONNELL WAS NOT NICE TO HER STAFF OR PEOPLE THAT CAME UP TO HER. ROSIE TOOK EXCEPTION TO BEING GAY EVEN THOUGH SHE KNEW SHE HAD NO CHOICE IN TGE MATTER.
Barbra just sitting there completely unamused
Love.....
Her work sure held up well, especially for the skin only work back then! Joan has the newer muscle tightening lifts, much better for the trouble. But Phyllis looks incredible for 90!

AND JOAN RIVERS IS DEAD, NOW BRAGG ABOUT PLASTIC SURGERY.
Very sharp witted for 90 and kind of reminded one of Lucy but Phyillis Diller was incredibly funny.
I notice how Barbara feigns laughter when they have Joan on..
Phyllis is the best
RIP
R.I.P.
damn will they let her answer a question before asking a question.

No they won't. That is the way it is today. You don't get to answer the question directed to you or elaborate on any details. Today the interviewer is the star, not the one being interviewed.

my thoughts exactly. don't they realize she's a legend ?
I love when a comic laughs after they tell their own joke, only a handful can do that and get away with it. Roseann is another one. They where best friends.

@@sue2019 Roseanne Barr, not Rosie O'Donnell.
She was sooooooo funny!
Regarding her children and her knowing what she did for a living: They knew I worked nights and wore a lot of make-up...Lol! ❤
Joy Beher is blaming Phyllis Diller for her existence???
Why the 1st thing they want to bring up is her history of plastic surgery. She is a comedic ICON who's paved the way for sooooo many females comics.
she's good
Guess Barbara would rather be in the company of world leaders and Presidents than with some legendary comedienne...too bad.Phyllis is more interesting and entertaining.
She wasvery intelligent and thst sense of humor and attitude helps to have a full and long life.
Totie Fields was stricken at home by a blood clot, suffering a fatal pulmonary embolism because of diabetes not plastic surgery.
I miss that laugh!!!
Moms mabley actually was before diller....but love her
@sexymama1857 ...no sweetie...she is 94 now she was just on rosie new talk show on Oprah's "OWN" network
@KellyGreen5555 SO IS WHOOPI !!!!!
Joy Behar: "What made you take so long? I have my reasons." Everyone: Yeah ... you weren't funny.

Are Rosie and Barbara no longer friends now?? I would hope they would have patched things up.
Had about 6 strands of hair on head!! Lol😭😜
What one of the greatest legends we lost and what a odd why of Joy to refer to her as ‘SHE’ on the show 🙄
Do they ever let their guests speak on The View?
Barbara Walters her personality is so blah would it kill you to laugh and let go. Your talking to phyllis diller not o.j simpson Lol

She has no sense of humor and was only preoccupied about getting dirt on Phyllis’s relationship with Bob Hope. She’s a tacky, humorless and tasteless woman.

She had hip surgery either right before or right after this interview, I can't remember which.
make no mistake rosie is indeed very smart, but she is a mean spirited woman. i worked with her on Stand up Spotlight on VH1 very early in her career. She treated everyone like crap. she's one of the few people i've worked with in a 25 year career in show business that i think is a terrible human being.
Barbara is slow to pick up on Phyllis's jokes.
Totally! Ice Queen! :(
OMG I was wondering that and look down and see all the comments about walters. She IS a stuck-up know it all.
TOTALLY agree with GoldenFrog's comments about Barbara Walters...
Walters doesn't like Phyllis
do u know who phyllis diller is is a samantha in the wild thon berrys a green and purpple queen in disney's activity center a bugs life and bugs life bugs a mask scara in the power puff girls aunt spitz in capsers scare schoooldlander paige in raw smack down and more thats what she does,
i'm not a huge rosie o'donnell fan. i think she's moderately funny, and i think she's fairly well meaning. she's just too strident. that being said, i felt bad for her on getting fired from this show. they brought her on to be rosie o'donnell and then fired her for being rosie o'donnell.

Rosie is a great comedian and I admire her a lot but I think the way she's sitting here with her leg pointing to other people is way disrespectful, I never make such remarks to people who do this but in a talk show where she's joining much older guests...and in this particular show a LEGEND..donno just not decent way to sit.
"Universally known?" I'd like to see that word used in mixed company. "Funny," I can't seem to locate in my response where I critized you because Barbara didn't stand up to acknowledge Miss Diller. I'm still searching for that one. "Sorry," but did you actually read anything into what I said about your very poor choice of words? I'm afraid that BA didn't prepare you enough to make an effective response to a situation, even on KZread??
Phyllis Diller never intended to help create those harpies.
Phyllis and Barbara didn't connect here at all
@Amir2110 Whoopi is always high! I'd be willing to wager that she doesn't even know that she is hosting this, ahem, dopey show.
joy behar, "she knows how to age gracefully" how can you know that? bs cleche.
Leave it to the view to take the funny out of Phyllis Diller, they just kissed her ass the whole time and treated her like she was special needs, I wanna puke. Love you Phyllis! have some fun rosie!
@HallmarkJD Rosie O'Donnell was way too smart and funny for that show.
