2023 I'm here! I've been really stressed out recently because I have a lot on my mind. I'm always thinking about how to improve my English and how to learn English much faster. I feel like I put myself under too much pressure and I'm completely burnt out. Now, because I worked myself into the ground I'm at breaking point. I know it's no use being stressed. It's a process that takes time and when the going gets tough I should take a break, go out to take a breath of air, and chillax😅. Dear Emma, your lesson was incredibly useful. I can't thank you enough ❤!
Congratulations, your classes are getting better and better!

In 2009 I've worked for the whole weekend non-stop, we were taking overnight shifts to watch an automated migration that was running throughout the weekend and we needed to pay attention to any failure that could happen during the execution and fix it right away in order to get all data ready before the weekend ends. Not only the weekend was extremely exhausting, but we also had to wake up very early at the next Monday to assist users with any major issue that could pop up, so then, I was definitely burning the candle at both ends by waking up early after a long weekend working hard. Thanks for the lesson Emma!

Excellent way to teach us how to apply these stressing phrases 💪
Thanks a lot Emma! Your today's lesson seemed to me quite helpful as well. So many new vocabulary, new phrases! Anyway, that'll bring me away to more thoughtful use some kind of idioms 'n' expressions and help me sound even more naturally. God bless you! Love you, see you there! P.S. Why are so little "likes" here? Who dare put "dislikes"? Emma is trying for all of us, she really does her best so that we could make our dream come true. Hi Emma, An interesting and unique lesson about "stress expressions". I sincerely appreciate your efforts and learned lots of new idioms. Homework: * It's a high pressure job and you could burn out young. * He is so depressed. He doesn't seem able to snap out of it at all. Stress is an unavoidable part of everybody's life. So the best way to overcome and deal with stress is always think positive and enjoy life to keep your self busy and happy. Thanks and regards.

Hello dear teachear from Buenos Aires Argentina. Thanks for your lesson. It s great and very appropiate to these quarantine days. Most of us are feeling burnt out because of being doing home office and the whole family is at home all the time. We have so many things on our minds that I think we ll be at a breaking point very soon. It s not easy to adapt to so many changes so soon all of us, we sometimes snap at each other because of any nonsense. I hope all of us can cope with this quarantine and be healthy too. Thanks for your lesson again, the photos you post in Instagram are really marvellous, lovely emu. 💖😘💝

Thank you for the lesson. You have the ability to relax me even if you're talking about stress! There's an expressive idiom in Italian when you go beyond the breaking point and completely lose your temper: 'perdere le staffe' which means 'to lose the stirrups'. I imagine it's self-explanatory...

Hi Emmmmmmma!!! Thank you for the class. I was burnout until the last month with all that English classes, even I thought I'd already got so much on my plate, but now is when I'm actually under pressure to learn Germany. Definitely I'm burning the candle at the three sides. But I never get to breaking point because, like the bamboo, the storm bends me but it doesn't break me, and to relax my neurons I see your videos.

I love your metaphor about the bamboo - it's beautiful! "I was burnt out until last month with so many English classes. Even though I already had/have some much on my plate, now is when I'm actually under pressure to learn German. I'm definitely burning the candle on three sides! (😂) But I never get to my breaking point because, like the bamboo, the storm bends me but it doesn't break me. Watching your videos relaxes my neurons!" ✔️
