Watching your lessons on phresal verbs is much better than looking them up in a dictionary. You really make them so easy to understand, but the problem is that there is a huge amount of them in the English language, which demands a person having hypermnesia to memorize all of them perfectly.

Haha, yes, you are right. There are so many and there are always new ones being made. But practice makes perfect! There more you use them, the better they will stick. Keep up the good work, Nawar Nawar!

Andrew ,you are a great teacher , don't play down like this ! My history teacher always gives boring and poor lessons but he often plays up so we don't like him anymore ! I don't play around you !

Yes, in most cases 'play out' and 'pan out' can be used in the exact same way.

Tysm for the lesson I have a question tho When someone 'play it off' for ex, I tripped over a rock and fell yesterday in front of my date but managed to play it off and she bought it. Does it mean he managed to pretend that he did it on purpose?
@mapleleafesl6162

Yes, that's correct. Although I would modify your sentence to say: I tripped over a rock and fell yesterday in front of my date though I managed to play it off like I'd done it on purpose. This would then mean that I pretended that I'd done it on purpose. Thanks for the question!
